No one pov...
Jennie trudged into her room, her exhaustion evident in her slow gait. She had been looking forward to a peaceful evening, away from the tension that had been building up at home.
As she settled into her study routine, her thoughts drifted to G-Dragon, her new friend. She couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and gratitude towards him. His charming smile and effortless conversation had lifted her spirits.
Jennie's gaze wandered to the clock on her wall, and she noted the time - 7:00 PM. She had 40 minutes to complete her assignment before dinner. With renewed determination, she focused on her notes, scribbling away in her notebook.
However, as she delved deeper into her studies, her frustration began to simmer. She was searching for a specific question, but it seemed to be elusive, hidden somewhere in the vast expanse of her textbook.
She read the chapter thrice, her eyes scanning the pages with increasing urgency, but the question remained nowhere to be found. Her mind was a jumble of confusion and irritation.
Just then, her eyes landed on the almirah, where her luggage was stacked haphazardly. She recalled that she had packed some books in her suitcase, which might hold the key to her dilemma.
With a sense of trepidation, Jennie picked up the stool and placed it beside the almirah. She climbed onto it, her hands grasping the edge of the almirah as she steadied herself.
Jennie's determination to retrieve her books led her to climb the stool, but her short stature proved to be a hindrance. She stretched her arms, straining to reach the luggage, but it remained just out of grasp. Undeterred, she tried again and again, her efforts futile.
Just as she was about to give up, her hand finally made contact with the luggage, but her foot slipped on the stool. Jennie's heart skipped a beat as she felt herself losing balance. She closed her eyes, bracing for the impact, but it never came.
Instead, she found herself enveloped in a pair of muscular arms, which had wrapped around her waist, holding her securely. Jennie's eyes fluttered open, and she met Taehyung's intense gaze. His black orbs seemed to bore into her soul, and for a moment, time stood still.
The silence between them was palpable, heavy with unspoken emotions. Jennie's voice barely above a whisper, broke the spell. "Thank you."
Taehyung's eyes snapped back into focus, and he spoke, his tone low and even. "What were you doing there?"
Jennie's gaze drifted upwards, meeting Taehyung's. "Getting my books... nothing else." Her response was laced with a hint of defensiveness.
Taehyung's expression remained unreadable, but he nodded curtly...
Taehyung's eyes never left hers, his gaze piercing. "You should be more careful. You could have gotten hurt."
Jennie's cheeks flushed, and she looked away, trying to compose herself. "I'm fine. It won't happen again."
As Taehyung released his grip on Jennie, he spoke, "Let me get those books for you." He climbed the stool with ease, retrieving the books from the luggage. "See, it's easy," he said, handing them to Jennie.
Jennie raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in her voice. "Because you're taller than me, that's why it's easy for you."
Taehyung's lips twitched, suppressing a laugh. He found it endearing that Jennie had acknowledged her shorter stature. "Okay, okay, I'm not in the mood to fight," he said, holding up his hands in mock surrender.
Jennie nodded, a smile still playing on her lips. She moved towards her study table, placing the books beside her notes. Taehyung's gaze followed her, noticing the sparkle in her eyes.
