From the moment you were born, you had always been the light of your dad's life.
Though, you couldn't remember it, from what he had told you, your mom died when you were young. And from that moment on, he did all he could to protect you.
He found a lovely new woman, Carla. Then, your little brother, Eren, was born when you were seven years old.
You had always admired the Scouts growing up, and it seemed as though your brother took after you in that aspect.
They were fearless, courageous leaders who fought for everyone inside the walls to be safe.
And for some reason, your dad let you join the cadet corps. And in just a few years, you were climbing the ranks in the Scout Regiment.
Eren, though, was told by Carla that he wasn't allowed to join the Scouts. She was too scared that he would be killed and couldn't hold his own like you could.
As much as you tried to tell her that he would be fine, and that you would always keep an eye on him, she just wasn't budging on it.
But you were thriving in the Scouts. As a matter of fact, you were the strongest soldier up until a certain someone came along and stole that title from you.
But you were still the second strongest soldier and the strongest female soldier, so you were still fine with it.
That certain someone was a person who you met in the underground.
When you were just 17 years old, Erwin made you go on a mission with him to hunt down a group of three people who had somehow managed to get their hands on ODM gear.
One of those three was Levi, the person who would later steal your title from you.
He was eight years older than you, sure, but you couldn't deny the fact that he was hot.
From the moment you laid eyes on him, something clicked for you. Like you knew that you would have some sort of connection with him.
He was the captain of the special operations squad, while you were a section commander who would be assigned a different squad to help on every expedition.
But Erwin mostly threw you in with Levi's squad since they were assigned the hardest tasks.
On the day that Shiganshina fell, you were outside of the wall. You weren't even there to help when your family was in danger.
You didn't understand how you could let this happen. You were supposed to be one of the strongest soldiers, and yet you couldn't even save your parents.
Luckily enough, Eren, Armin, and Mikasa made it out alive. They even joined the Cadet Corps.
You knew they'd be fine. After all, you were the one who taught them everything they knew about the Cadet Corps and the Scouts leading up to the events of that day.
And now, they were fighting alongside you.
Alongside you and Levi.
He was your best friend, but you didn't want to leave it at that.
