Maybe there is a chance after all

Wonderland was a beautiful place with lots of Creatures that lived together in peace, until the Queen of hearts started to rule over everything.
After some time, she became a daughter, Princess Red. She's rebellious and hates to follow her mother's rules. She hates her mother so much, because she never lets Red out of Wonderland and practically holds her hostage. Off course Red tried to snuck out, but that ended really bad and on the other hand it is impossible, because there are guards everywhere.

Red gets woken up because one of the guards is knocking on her door." Princess Red, your mother convoked court and she wants you to participate." She groans very loud and thinks' what did the dump population do again and why do I need to participate? This can't be good! Oh no, does she know about the one time I went into the forest in the dark or worse when I destroyed her portray?" She quickly changes into some clothes, which she clearly knows her mother would hate and then gets guarded to the courtyard. "Your royal highness, Princess Red!" The Queen turns around to face her daughter. "Mhmm, I see you couldn't be bothered to dress for court. I find that outfit.. offensive. What happened to the clothes I had made for you? "I wish being me didn't offend
you" Well right now we have better things to do so, gather around!" Red is relieved. She couldn't tell her mother that she burned the clothes. She would have gone mad, and Red would have got punished. "This night, somebody vandalized my castle and my beautiful portrait. And this sorry excuse of a soldier failed of protecting property. So Red, darling, what do we do with him? Because one day you will rule side by side with me, I thought you can make the decision." The Queen says to Red with a little smirk on her face.
"I, I'm in charge?" Red says looking scared and confused at her mom who nods with an expectant facial expression. "Okay. well.., in that case..off with his.." She doesn't want to kill him, but she needs to do something, or she will get punished. "off with his... hat!" Red says pulling the hat from the soldier from his head and putts it on hers with a smile. The Queen rolls her eyes. "You are such a disappointment! I just want a daughter that is responsible and can make smart decisions. I mean, get you...a bit.
When I was your age, I wanted everyone to adore me, be my friend, but most people aren't worth it so don't even try. Now get it right or I'll show you punishment!" She screams in her daughter's face causing her to frighten and to step back.
"NOW! Red turns around to face the guard. She doesn't want to hurt him. She doesn't want to be like her mom, having so much blood on her hands.
She wants to speak up, but she can't. She can't say anything. The Queen steps closer and closer to Red. She notices and knows that she is in big trouble, but she can't move. Her body is frozen. Tears are forming in her eyes. The Queen was about to hit Red when someone interrupts
"Your royal highness, I'm very sorry to interrupt court, but I have an very important letter for Princess Red." Maddox, the son of the Mad Hatter, says with a wide smile. He hands Red the letter, but her mother snatches it out of her hand. "What have you done again?" Red rolls her eyes but makes sure that her mother didn't see her. "I haven't done any-
-" "Shush!" the Oueen interrupts Red who is really annoyed. "What does it say?
From whom is it?" Red asks curious. "Can't you be quiet for a moment. I just opened the letter."
"Sorry" she says backing up a bit, still interested in who the letter is from. "Okay, now..., the letter is from.
" She gasps "AURADON?!" Red is shocked. The whole courtyard has gone silent. Maybe there is a chance after all", Maddox says with a big smile, who is now standing right next to Red. Reds eyes are starting to fill with excitement but she stoffs "I don't think that she will let me go" she says looking down at her nails" "Well you never know. Wonders can happen in Wonderland" he says pushing Red playfully with his elbow. She giggles a little. "But my mom never brings Wonders with-"We invite Princess Red of Wonderland to attend Auradon Prep." The Queen is speechless. "What do you think your majesty? I think it would be a perfect opportunity for Princess Red, me saying that as her teacher, means something." Maddox says, trying to convince the Queen to let Red go. After a long silence the Queen speaks up "Mhmm. I think... we accept!" "Okay...wait what?! Are you serious?" The Queen nods. "Pack your things!" she yells while walking into the castle. „Tolt ya!" Maddox says with a smile as big as the smile from the chashire cat. "Why are you not happy?" Red is looking down at the ground "Well.. I'm soooo happy but...on the other hand I'm scared. My mom lets me go, but she expects me to have good grades and to be my best. And I don't know if I can life up to her expectations. And if I won't then she will be mad at me and maybe lock me in here again and never letting me out of Wonderland ever again." "I already have seen you be your best, so I know that you can and now you need to know it too." "No, I can't" This is your dream. This is your chance. And you know what, I heard that they have good art classes. Red, just think about it, how great you would fit in there." "Yea maybe, but still, these are really big shoes to fill." "Just remember what someone really wise said 'Every adventure requires a first step'. Red is still not so sure but eventually agrees "Okay I think you're right. I should try." "That's my girl. I'm proud of you." Maddox says really proud. "Thanks" Red says giving Maddox a little hug, even tho she hates hugs. Or at least she is not used to them.
