Gabby walked the streets, carrying a plastic water bottle and shopping bags. Making her way to the car park, she spotted a familiar blondie. JJ fell over a fence, sprinting away from something he clearly didn't want to cross paths with. He grunted lying on the floor, as Gabby quickly ran over."Did you just yeet, over that fence," she said, looking at the boy in disappointment. JJ nodded slowly, grunting and moaning in agony. Gabby grimaced as she saw a swatch of blood on his white shirt, "Shit, you're bleeding," she informed the boy.
She helped him up, as his eyes were blinded by her lethal features. Her black hair tied up in a messy pony tail, denim shorts and a white tank top. "Sup princess," he joked, as she hit his hair a little telling him to shut up. "I'll drive you home," she nodded towards her car as he followed behind her.
"If you get blood on my seats, I will fucking kill you," she warned JJ. "Yes Gabriela," he replied, holding his hands up in defense. She began to drive, blushing at the fact he had called her Gabriela. "You should really clean that," she said, looking down at his wound.
JJ stared out the window, before turning his gaze onto the beautiful Rodriegez girl next to him, "Yeah, it'll be fine, I have no idea how to clean this," he replied, feeling a sense of the fact she thought he was stupid. Gabby laughed, "Am I taking you to John B's?" the girl asked. He nodded, as she turned a corner, "Direct me."
They pulled up outside the Chataeu, and no one was home. Gabby followed JJ into the house, he furrowed his eyebrow in a question way 'what are you doing.' "Where's the first aid kit?" she asked, dodging all the squashed beer cans that spread across the floor. JJ lead her into the kitchen, opening a cupboard and grabbing a white box.
"Sit," she said, pushing him onto the couch beside them. JJ instantly got butterflies, she sat next to him, lifting up his shirt a little. The wound bled out on the collar of his boxers. She stroked the outside of the wound, as the warmth of her touch sent JJ crazy. "This will hurt, don't scream," she demanded, pouring rubbing alcohol onto a piece of tissue.
She gently placed it onto the injury, as he groaned loudly. The tingling pain rushed up his arms, as she placed her hands onto his mouth to shush him. JJ instantly became quiet, "Shit that hurt," he said. Gabby laughed, "Your just a baby," she joked. JJ rolled his eyes, before looking directly into her hazel ones. His ocean blue eyes sent butterflies flying through her stomach, in no way did she feel this when Rafe looked at her.
It felt wrong to admit, but JJ's touch was warm, unlike Rafe's. JJ's eyes felt like she could swim deep into them forever, and be safe, but when she looked into her boyfriends, all she saw was emptiness. It had always been that way, but she couldn't say that, as it's JJ Maybank were talking about here. Also, he's a pogue and pogues are off limits.
"So you sure you didn't just do this to hang around with me?" he said with a devious smirk. Gabby giggled to herself, before turning completely serious, "Get your head out the gutter Maybank, unlike you I don't want your wounds to grow infected," she let out a sarcastic smile, before questioning herself. Was that the reason? Or was it the fact she needed a break from her perfect life, and she wanted to hang out with JJ. No, it was because she didn't want his wound to get infected, she told herself.
Suddenly, John B crashed into the Châtaeu, Gabby instantly moved her hand from JJ's waist. When was her hand there? Why didn't she move it? John B squinted his eyes in confusion, before looking directly at JJ, "We have to go, come on," he said moving her gaze to Gabby. Was he talking to her as well? "Okay, I'll go," Gabby said, standing up.
"No, we have no time," John B rushed the two. Gabby began, "But," she said, before being interrupted. "Scared to get your soft hands dirty princess," JJ winked, brushing past her. She rolled her eyes, questioning herself whether to actually go. She thought back to the bubble wrap, the bubble wrap that she was afraid to be stuck in forever, and this was her opportunity to break out of it.
