"Faye! Faye, wake up! I thought you were going to read this story quickly so that you could join my party?" I heard someone calling my name. Boses ba 'yon ni Jess?

As I glanced down at the book I'd been reading, I realized that I had fallen asleep.

But something felt different. Was it all just a dream? Even stranger, I couldn't remember what the dream was about, though it felt very real.

I decided to look at the book again, hoping it would help jog my memory.

The names Hezekiah Octavius and Lily Arresea stood out to me, but I still couldn't recall the details of my dream.

I swear something felt different after waking up; it was like losing a memory that I knew I had.

"Hey, Jess," I called out. Jess turned to me, raising an eyebrow. "How long have I been sleeping?"

She glanced at the clock on the wall. "About an hour. Ok ka lang ba? You seemed really out of it."

I rubbed my eyes, feeling a lingering heaviness in my mind. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just... had a strange dream, I guess. I can't shake this feeling that I'm missing something important."

Jess leaned against the wall, crossing her arms. "Do you want to talk about it? Sometimes sharing helps clear things up."

I hesitated, trying to sort through the hazy thoughts in my mind. "It's just that I don't remember much," I said slowly. "But I do remember two names—Hezekiah Octavius and Lily Arresea. They felt really important."

Jess looked thoughtful. "Those names sound familiar. Isn't Hezekiah a character in that fantasy book that professor told us to read?"

I narrowed my eyes. "Yeah, pero there are hundreds of characters do'n, diba? Why would those two stick with me?"

"Maybe you were dreaming about the book?" she said.

Suddenly, a shiver ran down my spine. "What if it wasn't just a dream? What if there was something more? Could this book hold The Magic Within The Pages?"

Jess frowned. "What do you mean?"

I took a deep breath and sat up straighter, trying to shake off the last bits of sleep. "What if there was something important I was meant to remember? Something about those characters..?"

Jess's expression turned serious. "Okay, this is getting a bit creepy. Panaginip lang 'yan, Faye. Don't overthink it."

Maybe it really was just a weird dream, I thought, trying to convince myself as I stood up. I walked over to the shelf to put the book back where I'd found it.

"Halika na, Faye, we're going to be late for the party!" Jess urged.

As I turned to head to the shelf, I suddenly bumped into someone.

Startled, I looked up and locked eyes with a stranger who seemed both unfamiliar and oddly recognizable at the same time. The name Hezekiah flashed in my mind like a neon sign.

This figure looked so familiar; perhaps we had crossed paths before, but I just couldn't place it. Who could it possibly be?

"Have we.. met before?" we both blurted out. Time seemed to pause as the world faded away, leaving only the two of us in that library.
