Tess and Hunter got to visit Ally in her hospital room later that day. "Poor thing..." said Tess. Hunter nodded. "At least she made it out alive." he said. "I'm probably gonna move back here once Ally wakes up." said Tess. "Really?! But what about college?!" asked Hunter. "That doesn't matter to me anymore, what matters to me is making sure Ally is well cared for." said Tess. Hunter walked up to Ally and gave her a small kiss before they left.
Ally's eyes slowly opened. Everything felt numb. She could still move her hands around, and her head, but that was it. The door opened. It was Jake. He appeared flustered. "Whoops! Wrong room!" he stammered. "Jake wait!" said Ally. Jake turned to face her. "Can you stay with me? At least until Tess and Hunter get here?" asked Ally. "I don't know..." said Jake. "I know we haven't been close, but I don't want to be alone..." she said quietly. Jake relented and sat down next to her. "How are you holding up?" he asked. "I just woke up...everything feels sort of...numb." said Ally. "What do you want to talk about?" asked Jake. "I'm sorry..." she said. "For...?" asked Jake. "For being so insufferable...I realize now that I set my morals aside too often..." said Ally. "You're forgiven." said Jake. Ally smiled. Hunter and Tess arrived in the doorway and Jake left. Hunter hugged his girlfriend and kissed her on the lips. "Hey Peaches..." he whispered. Ally laughed.
