"HEY, HEY, HEY!! Kuroo!" I yell, running up to my best friend. He looks over, a huge grin plastered on his face. "Yo, Bokuto! Ready to go to the cafe Kenma recommended?" We high five as I enthusiastically go "Of course, bro! If your boyfriend recommended it, it must be good!" He laughs at how excited I was but warned me, putting his hand on my shoulder, "Remember, Kenma said it was a nice quiet cafe. Be chill, got it?" I swatted his hand away, reassuring him, "Yeah, yeah, I know. Let's just go now!"

We hurry to get on the train and find seats a good distance from everyone else. We chatted and laughed at jokes, insulted each other, and had a good time until Kuroo said it was our stop. "Oi, how far is it?" I ask. He looks back at me, since I was following him, and answered "Not long. Are you already tired?" He ended in a teasing way, so I scoff. "Tired? Do you even know me? If you did you would know I'm never tired." He nods, answering "Definitely. No matter what." We hurry on, until we finally get there.

The door was a dark wooden one with gold hinges. It had big windows on the building and above the door was a sign of a cup of steaming coffee. It looked cute, so I smile. We walk in and I'm immediately hit with the delightful aroma of coffee beans, which is to expect. I scan the place, seeing that the walls and floor were white, but the cushion of the seats were black, with dark wood tables, and all lined with gold. People were quietly talking while sipping on their drinks, and it really was quite peaceful. There were vines curling around a pole, that was close to the place with a big but cozy sign reading, 'Order Here'

We walk over, looking at the menu, before I stop and stare at the prettiest boy I have ever seen behind the register. He had tousled black hair and soft features, with pale skin and the most gorgeous, slender hazel eyes. My breath catches as I look at him and my face heats up. He is wearing a simple white tee-shirt with a black apron that had the cafes logo. He had the most soft looking skin that shone like the moon and gentle lips, and OH MY GOD HE HAS CUTE RECTANGULAR GLASSES. "Oi, Bokuto. What is it?" Kuroo asked, nudging my shoulder.

I startle as I rip my gaze from the stunning boy, to look at my best friend. "W-what?" I ask. He looks at the boy I was and smirks. "Oh, does my dear Bokuto have a crush?" I blush even harder as I deny it. No way do I have a crush on him. I'm completely straight. I tell myself but then look back at the boy. I gulp as we come closer, Kuroo picking up on my nervous energy. We look up at the menu, but I can't read a word it says.

"What are you getting?" Asks Kuroo. My mind races as I think of normal cafe things. "Um, I'll just get a hot chocolate. Mom still doesn't allow me to drink coffee." He chuckles and tells me "Of course not! You are way too ADHD to drink any caffeine." I roll my eyes, knowing that he's right. We get to the counter and my eyes are glued to the barista. I read his name tag, and it read 'Akaashi.' So, his name is Akaashi, huh? Finally he looks up at us and calmly asks, "Hello, what would you like to order?" Oh my God, his voice is like an Angels!!! I internally scream, as Kuroo orders a Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Then Akaashi turns to me. He has a small notepad in his hand with a pencil as I stutter "Well-um, I'm going to-going to have a-a going to-um- well- uhh- a hot- er- I'll have a hot- um- hot chocolate." He raises his eyebrows at me as I blush in embarrassment. He checks it off then calmly gives it to a raven haired boy, that's name tag read 'Kageyama.' We quickly leave to a seat as I bury my face in my arms, that were on the table. "Dude!" Kuroo laughed, "That was terrible! You were stuttering so much it was hilarious!"

I groan as he continues on about how I was so stupid and he got embarrassed for me. We were both waiting at the table as Kuroo made fun of me. A couple minutes later Akaashi came up with our drinks and set them down in front of us. I look up at him and blush again, averting my eyes. Yep, I'm not straight anymore. Shit. Once Akaashi leaves I whisper yell at Kuroo "Dude, I think I have the fattest crush on the barista, Akaashi." Kuroo all but smirks at me as he says "Really? I never would have guessed..." I smack him atop the head and say "I'm serious! You know that this is a huge break through for me! I have never found a man romantically attractive before ever in my life!"

Kuroo rolls his eyes at me and sighs "I know, I know. You don't need to tell me. But you know what I have been telling you? That you're just a closeted gay! Ive been telling you for years!" Now it's my turn to sigh. "Yeah, I know. But I never thought it was actually true." He scoffs at me as he sips his latte. I take a sip of my own and my eyes widen. It was really good! I smile as I drink more and more. I look up as I hear a phone camera go off. I see Kuroo holding back laughter as takes a picture of me and only then do I notice I have a whip cream mustache. I shrug as I continue to drink it, enjoying every last drop.

Hey, this is a note from the author. I've never done this before, so please be nice! Also, I apologize for how short the chapter is...I couldn't think of anything else to write quite yet, but I hope to update at least once a week! Thank you so much for your patience and sorry!
