Chapter 9 : Exploring

"Do you know which way to the exit?" Tempest suddenly asked at his twin

"No"

"Ugh... Great we're stuck now.... Wanna go exploring?" Jungle grinned happily at Tempest suggestion as they walked into the seemingly endless hallway

You must be confused on what's happening right now, well. Let me get you into a flashback

-Flashback-

Jungle  was seen leaning into the railing, trying to catch a butterfly that caught his etention, Tempest was relaxing beside Jungle when he sees Jungle, falling down from the railing causing Tempest to have a panick attack

"Opssie.." Jungle bluntly said with his innocent face as he fall from the railing

"NO!! JUNGLE!!" Tempest screamed in panick as he used his elemental power to created a small tornado around Jungle's body, catching Jungle before he completely fall

"Huft..." Tempest let his body fall to the wooden floor with a relief sigh, controling the small tornado to get Jungle up to the ship

"You scared me there Jungle." Tempest stated with a frown on his face, staring over at Jungle with a dissaproving look

"Hehe~ sorry!" Jungle apologized with a sheepish smile, scratching the back of his head nervously

Tempest let out a sigh for the second time as he looked at Jungle's appereance up and down to see of there is any injuries on Jungle's body.

Tempest let out a satisfied 'hum' when he sees no injuries are made before starting to scold Jungle for his recklessness. Jungle just sweatdrop at Tempest's scolding, reminding himself to not make the wind elemental worry as he can be scary as Quake sometimes when he is angry

"So, are you having fun kids? Sorry for leaving earlier. I have an important things to do" Jozu explained, walking closer to the railing where the twin's at

"That's fine miste- ehem. Jozu! We are just doing that earlier" Jungle answered happily, Tempest give him a  skeptical look before slowly nodding.

'Yeah, as if falling from the railing are a fun things to do.' Tempest mentally said

"Good, I'm glad you found something to keep you guys entertain until we dock on an island."

Jozu then looked at the surrounding ocean infront of him, "speaking of island... I heard we will reach the next island very soon" Jozu informed them, making them surprised

"Wait- REALLY!??? WE ARE CLOSE TO AN ISLAND?" Tempest shouted happily as he looked at Jozu with sparkling eyes

Jozu chuckled at the boy's excitement before replying "yeah, by the look on your face, you seems to be waiting for this the entire time"

GROWLL!!!

Tempest and Jozu looked at Jungle with a surprised look, not expecting for the nature elemental to get hungry very quickly.

Jungle just blinked innocently before a sheepish smile appear on his face, "hehehe, I think I'm hungry from thinking about the food on the island!" Jungle said ignoring the deadpan look he earned from Tempest.

"You must be hungry, let me lead you to the cafetaria-"

"We're fine walking alone! I know the way!" Jungle cut Jozu off while they begin to run into the hallway with Tempest being dragged forcefully by Jungle

"But that's the wrong direction...." Jozu stared at them as they dissapear into the hallway without hearing his word. The man let out a heavy sigh, knowing that they will get loss in the hallway.

"Jeez, kids are really energic these days."

-Flashback End-

"Eh...."

"We really should accept his offer to lead the way towards the cafetaria" Jungle said in realization, regreting his decission for not accepting Jozu's offer

"Yeah, I agree." Tempest nodded

"Ouch! What the-!?" Tempest rubbed his butt in pain while Jungle was looking around the room in curiosity

"Where is this!?"

"Did we got kidnapped or something?"

Tempest looked at Jungle with a flat look before something appear infront of them
