October 20th

The chaos truly began when
Mystery decided the quiet suburban neighborhood you were delivering to would make the perfect racetrack.

One moment, you and Daisuke were unloading packages from the wagon attached to the pony; the next, Mystery was galloping off, leaving a trail of spilled boxes in her wake.

"NO! MYSTERY, STOP!"
you scream, dropping the package in your hands and taking off after her.

"How the hell does one pony cause this much trouble?!"
Daisuke yells, sprinting beside you.

Residents peek out of their windows, their faces a mix of confusion and amusement as you chase the unruly pony.

"Cut her off before she gets
to the cul-de-sac!"
you shout, dodging a sprinkler that sprays water directly into your face.

"Oh sure, let me just teleport, why don't I?"
Daisuke retorts, leaping over a garden gnome Mystery just knocked over.

The pony veers off the road and into someone's meticulously
landscaped yard.

"Not the flowers! Don't trample the flowers!"
you groan as Mystery kicks up a spray of dirt, sending tulip petals flying.

An older man steps out onto his porch, holding a mug of coffee.
"You kids lose something?"

"Just a pony and my patience!"
you yell, darting past him.

"Good luck with that,"
he mutters, sipping his coffee and watching the scene unfold.

Mystery darts between two houses, disappearing into someone's backyard. You and Daisuke follow, squeezing through a narrow gap in the fence.

"What if she's headed for the pool?!" Daisuke pants, his hat now hanging around his neck by the string.

"Then we better hope ponies can swim!"
you snap, vaulting over a low bush.

Sure enough, Mystery skids to a halt by the edge of a pristine pool, her reflection shimmering in the water.
For a moment, you think she's going to stop.

But then she dips her head to take a drink—and her back hooves kick out, sending a patio chair flying straight into Daisuke.

"SHIT!"
Daisuke yells, ducking just in time. The chair crashes into the pool with a splash.

"That's it, I'm done being nice!"
you growl, grabbing a pool noodle and charging at the pony.
Mystery, sensing your frustration, takes off again, leaving wet hoofprints on the patio.

The chase continues onto another street, where a woman walking her dog freezes in shock.

"Uh, is that a pony?"
she asks as you sprint by.

"Nope, just a very big dog with hooves!"
Daisuke yells, trying to keep up.

Mystery makes a sharp turn into another yard, heading straight for a clothesline.
You duck just in time to avoid a pair of boxers swinging at head height.
