Mora opened her eyes to find herself lying in a forest, surrounded by tall trees. A gentle voice interrupted her confusion.
"Oh, sunshine, you wake up. I think you're still dreaming," Aaron said, offering her a warm smile.
Mora sat up, rubbing her temples. Her head throbbed.
"My head still hurts... Where am I? Wait, who are you both?"
Aaron handed her a bread loaf. "You can take it as free or pay later. No rush."
Mora's gaze shifted between Aaron and the young boy beside him.
"Let me introduce you," Aaron said. "I'm Aaron, and this is my little brother, Kael. Say hi, Kael."
"Hey," Kael chimed in, "brother, try to hurry or sis will scold us again."
Mora's eyes widened. "Can you tell me if there's a village or city nearby?"
Aaron nodded. "Our village is near. You can join us. You can pay later when you have money."
Mora hesitated, unsure.
"I'm joking, let's head back," Aaron said with a chuckle.
As they walked, Mora asked, "What's your business?"
"Me and my sis have our own family bakery," Aaron replied. "Our bread is special, famous in another village too."
Kael piped up, "Hey, don't forget me, big brother!"
Aaron smiled. "How can I forget you, little one?"
Upon arriving at the bakery, Emma greeted them warmly.
"You silly rat, you're late again! Any explanation or excuse?" Emma teased.
Aaron apologized, "Sorry, di, but I have a special delivery to show you."
Emma raised an eyebrow. "What special delivery?"
Aaron gestured to Mora.
Emma's eyes sparkled. "Oh, hey sweetie, what's your name?"
"Mora," Aaron replied.
Emma's curiosity piqued. "What??"
Mora smiled. "I am Mora."
"Your name really suits you, sweetie," Emma said.
Just then, a lady entered the bakery.
"Hey Emma, I heard some noise. Is everything okay?"
Emma assured her, "All good. Aaron, you should be on time."
Aaron apologized again.
The lady asked, "Is all bread finished?"
Emma smiled. "You arrived just in time. I always save one for you."
