It was 8 pm and my parents were talking to me about my studies...I was homeschooled but my teacher was not coming for a while...
Suddenly they got a call from my grandparents who lived in some other town and it was an emergency, they had to go...they had no other choice so they left me..as I was 16 years old it did not matter to me I thought I'm alone so I should go and have dinner which was already prepared I ate and by that time it was 8:30 I went to have some dessert as soon as I opened the fridge I heard a loud bang for the first time I thought it might be some rat because our house was more than 50 years old..
I ate a piece of my chocolate cake and then I went to sleep...after i slept i heard quite a lot of thuds..I did not pay much attention..at last there was a very loud bang I quickly woke up I was quite scared because our house was not some ordinary but very old type house

I was very scared as we did not even have any pets so I started walking towards the washroom where the sound came from. when I reached...and I was going to pull the curtain...
"*Knocks* *knock*"
I got scared... i started going back..as I was going my body was shivering and when I went downstairs to see who it was...
I peeped from the peephole and there was no one..as I told u guys we have a very old house with no house near us in this whole area it was just our house..
Suddenly the telephone rings *tring* *tring* at this point I was more scared than ever..i thought it might be my parents..i picked up the call..no one said anything Hello?
(It was now 10pm)
Hello Amelia I wanted to inform you that we will not be able to come because you're grandparents are very ill
Um ok mom..
I kept the telephone...I was heading towards my room and went to sleep in my sleep I heard a lot of screeching so again I did not pay much attention and slept with cotton in my ears and with a sleeping mask on...now it was 6 in the morning..
The sun had risen..
I remembered I have to call my best friend liam who lived near my house(only he lived and no more people)
He was a morning person so I knew he would be awake...
I went to call him because we both were homeschooled together..so I needed some notes...but I thought of calling my mom first..
I called her *she picked up the call*
