Jellal's POV
I left Magnolia after Erza's funeral. I didn't go and see my daughter in the end. I don't know what her name is and who she is with now, but I hope she is happy. I don't know if I'll ever return or see my daughter. But should I ever find myself in Magnolia, I promise to go and see her.
Crime Sorciere's back (minus Meredy) and already, Erik and Macbeth have gotten on my nerves. Erik can hear my thoughts and the tells Macbeth who decides to try and create illusions where either babies surround me or I'm walking through Magnolia which is an endless road. Sometimes, I feel like leaving them behind.
"Oi, Jellal, have you named your daughter yet?" Asked Sorano as she walked behind me with Sawyer. I shook my head in response.
"No. I've not even seen her yet." I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "I mean, I should but-"
"He's too scared." Sneered Erik and I glared at him. "Why don't you call her Hana? I mean, that's the name that kept going through Erz- I mean, her head when it came to baby names." I glared at him when he almost said her name and nodded as he spoke. It hurts whenever I hear her name and Erik knows that best since he knows my thoughts.
"Hana it is then." I agreed and continued walking.
Erik's POV
Man... Jellal's kinda freaky at the moment. Especially if we mention Erza. If he was Medusa, we would all be dead.
"Oi, Racer!" I called and he looked at me. I still called him Racer since that was the name that he had chosen. "Come 'ere" I gestured as I spoke and he came over. Racer and I stopped walking for a while as we talked. "So that's the plan. Make sure he doesn't hear you." I smirked and Racer nodded. He ran ahead to tell everyone the plan to get Jellal back to Magnolia. DON'T get me wrong, I'm not doing this because I think that he should see his kid, but I also wanna see Kinana since she was my friend for so many years. Man, I miss her being Cubellios. It's kinda lonely without her.
Racer's POV
"Psst... Angel... listen." I whispered "We're gonna try and get Jellal to go and see his kid. Here's the plan." She giggled slightly at the plan and agreed to it. She then told Hoteye who ended up saying "All for love!!" I facepalmed myself at his comment and went to Midnight.
"Hey, I need do to do something." I whispered the plan to him. He smirked slightly and gave a small chuckle "Fine. If I didn't know any better, I would say that Cobra was getting soft."
"Shut up." Growled Cobra as he jokingly hit Midnight's shoulder
Jellal's POV
I don't know what they're up to, but it doesn't seem good. They better not be planning an escape.
"Hey, does anyone smell burning?" complained Sorano and I sighed
"You're just thinking things." I said as I turned around and my eyes widened. A town, not far from here was ablaze. I squinted slightly and took a few steps forward.
"Oi Cobra, is that Magnolia?" shouted Racer as he ran a few steps back to check.
"Yeah... It is! Jellal, we should go back! Kinana's there!" Cobra shouted, panic written all over his face. I stood there, frozen. My... daughter... Is she...
"Get back to Magnolia! Quick! Save anyone you can, and hurry!" I yelled as I ran back as fast as my legs would let me. Sawyer had already beaten me to Magnolia and the others were right behind me. I could feel the roaring flames bite at me and I flinched slightly as a flame licked at my arm. "What are you waiting for?!" I yelled to them as I ran back to the guild. But I was too late, it was already engulfed in flames.
"Gray-sama! Gray-sama, wake up!" cried a woman's voice and coughed. I looked in the direction of the voice and saw Juvia shaking Gray as he held onto two small, lifeless bodies. My eyes widened and my hand went to my mouth as tears rolled down my cheeks. One child had a red mark on her eye. That was my daughter. I fell to my knees
"Don't you think that's enough, Midnight? You're starting to scare me." Said a voice behind me and I turned to see Erik and Macbeth, standing together. A beam came crashing down and Erik ducked whilst Macbeth smirked. "That's enough, we're here already." He sighed and Macbeth closed his eyes. Soon, the flames all disappeared and I was surrounded by a crowd of people, looking at me weirdly.
"Is this some kind of sick joke?!" I stood and took a step towards the duo, scowling at them. He shrugged and a smile played on his lips as he looked straight ahead of him.
"Da!" squealed a voice behind me and I turned around. The child then started to babble and laugh and my eyes widened. That's... my daughter...
A raven haired guy took several steps forward until he reached me, holding the baby out to me with a smile. "So you've finally decided to see her." He grinned "We named her Yuki since it snowed the day she was born, but you can rename her if you want." Tears welled up in my eyes as I took the baby from Gray and held her in my arms. She felt so fragile and her eyes looked just like Erza's.
"Thank you... Gray." I said quietly and continued to look down at my daughter, a tear running down my cheek. She laughed and squealed as I held her in my arms. My daughter. This child is mine.
"Yuki Hana Fernandes." I smiled. The name sounded funny but I didn't care. She's my daughter. I held her close to me and the hole that was once in my chest started to fill up.
Erza... she's so beautiful. I wish you were here to see her
"I see you finally got Jellal to come and see his daughter." A female voice asked Erik. I turned to look at Erik and saw him embrace Kinana and I smiled.
I promise Yuki, that I'll be the dad that you deserve.
