𝜗𝜚⋆˚RANIA'S POV :

"Where are Hamdan and Ayaan?" I ask, my limbs shaking as I make eye contact with Faheema.

"They've gone to check what has happened. Come and sit, Rania," Fahee's concerned voice fills my ears. My whole body shakes with anxiety and tremors.

"I want to go home!" I chant.

"We will go home," she gets up from her place and walks towards me.

"I want to go home," I chant again.

"We will, of course," she moves closer, her hand grabbing mine, my hands that are shaking and pressed against my ear.

"Stay away!" I jerk her hand off when she tries to touch me.

She looks stunned, her eyes wide.

I can't breathe. What if she tries to harm me now since Hamdan and Ayaan aren't here?

"Rania, what's wrong with you?" She asks, shocked, as she tries to help my hands move away from my ear.

"Help! Help! Help!" I scream, tears flowing down my face like a river.

"What the heck?" she gasps.

"You'll hurt me. I need to leave," my knees fell weak, and I fall to the ground on my knees. My heart is bursting with fear. My whole body trembles, tears streaming down my face.

Many people rushed towards us, some whispered, "She's having a panic attack," while I felt suffocated and scared.

My past with Armaan started flashing back as my head spun, tears rolling down my cheeks.

Breathing had become hard.

At the restaurant that year, a woman was missing, this year, a teen boy is missing. Armaan. Faheema. They both will kill me.

"Rania, what the fuck?" I could see myself passing out as Hamdan grabbed me in his arms, his angry yet terrified face was the last thing I remember seeing.

My dizzy eyes flashed open as my gaze scanned the whole room until my mind finally realized where I was: the hospital.

"Are you okay?" My heavy head shook in response as my eyes slowly moved toward Hamdan, who held my hand in his.

"You had a panic attack, and I clearly know the reason. But let's not talk about it. Faheema and Ayaan, I asked them to go home, and let's not discuss it for now. You're safe as long as you're with me," he stroked the back of my palm and tried to assure me.

A lone tear escaped my eyes. "If it's meant to be, I'll die, and I know Faheema will kill me. I know it's her. She'll kill me. I'll die." I pulled Hamdan's hand closer to me and clutched it tightly while shaking terribly.
