PARIS

I am not terrified of flying. I'm not afraid that the heavier-than-air craft I am on can fly into a mountain because of some pilot error, or explode by surprise on the wing because of inadequate cable insulation, or prang into Associate in nursing other heavier-than-air craft on the bottom because of an ATC fuckup. I am not afraid that a psychoneurotic can decide that bombing an advert flight can strike a blow for whichever political ideology they'd vote for if they lived during a democracy, or that a digital signal processor on some US Navy ship can decide that a Boeing is Associate in Nursing F-14 and knock it out of the sky whereas the captain is on the john.

"Here take this" Cassie says handing me some pills and a cold glass of water.

"Just promise me that we will not take a plane again" I yawn slowly drifting off to sleep.

"Sure" Cassie says with a straight face but I could see the humour in her voice.

When I finally open my eyes I could not be gladder to be on the ground again I was the first out of the plan and the first out of the airport. I can't believe we are in PARIS!

I have always dreamt to go to Paris ever since I was five. I blame all the old fashioned films that my mum watches every Sunday.  There is always a scene where there is romance or happiness and that scene will definitely take place in the beautiful capital of France, Paris. Besides, I would absolutely love to see the amazing Eiffel Tower with my very own eyes and not just in photographs or accessories. Paris, the capital city of France is often known as the city of romance and is a city steeped in art and culture. And now I get to live my dream with my best friend right beside me.

What more could a girl ask for?

Cassies Dad organised a limo to take use anywhere we wanted whilst in Paris. We thought it would be fun to rent a bought and live on it in during our time in Paris on a boat by the Seine River. Inside the boat was like an apartment, it did not feel like we were on a boat until you step outside on the deck.

"Aria this is are Captain Nelson, his the captain of the boat, he looks after the boat when me and my dad are not here. Captain Nelson this is my best friend Aria Dowling"

"It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Dowling" he says offering his hand, I shake it and reply "Nelson, like Horatio Nelson?"

Mr Nelson gives a slow smile "in some ways yes Madame"

After getting introduced to the rest of the staff we make are way to go and see the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is the most-visited paid monument in the world. 6.98 million people in 2011 went to visit it and I'm telling you standing here right now I can understand why so many people come to see it.  Your whole life you see pictures, watch movies of this site, but I wasn't expecting the actual size of it to be this overwelming. Seeing the surrounding area with the long water fountains, green grassed park areas, I was frozen and struck with awe. I couldn't believe I was standing here in person, it's so much more magical upfront.

"Pinch me"

" I cant move" cassie sighs in content

We climbed all 1,665 steps all the way to the top, we took pictures then decided to take the lift down for I never want to see that many steps in my life any time soon. We sat down with all the other people on the grass having a picnic. I have never seen so many happy faces, everyone looked so content and joyful it was contagious, Kids running around chasing each other, it was a perfect scene from a panting. Once we finally got over the magical sight in front of us it was now dark and  we turn and decided to take are shoes off and sit by the fountain and put are feet in the water and enjoy the view in front of use for a while then head home.
