The man slams his door shut, speeding off.

Jiah thought about taking her shoe off and throwing it at the car as it drove away.

The streets of Pyeongtaek smelled like shit.

Jiah looks over the landscape, out to the military households. There were so many foreigners that were stationed there. Men and women with their happy spouses and annoying little demon children.

Then, there was people like Jiah.

She mentally flips off the route to the foreigners on duty and turns on her heel to make her way to her home.

It doesn't take long until she sees a red light in the distance.
