The bell rang, signaling the end of another monotonous school day. Students packed up their things, chatting and laughing, ready to rush home for the weekend. But Y/N couldn't shake the feeling that something was different today. She was just another high school student, trying to survive the endless cycle of assignments, tests, and drama. However, there was one thing she couldn't ignore: Seungmin.

Seungmin. Just the thought of his name made her heart beat a little faster. He was the perfect mix of calm and cool-always so composed, so effortless in his charm. His voice had a certain tone to it that made her weak in the knees, and his smile? Oh, that smile... Y/N had spent far too many hours daydreaming about what it would be like if he ever noticed her.

But he never did.

Not that she ever had the courage to talk to him.

Seungmin was the type of guy who seemed like he had everything-looks, intelligence, and a voice that could make any song sound like magic. He was the one that everyone had a crush on, and that included Y/N. It was all so ridiculous; she was just another face in the crowd to him, and she knew that.

As Y/N walked through the crowded halls, her mind wandered. She barely noticed when her best friend, Jisoo, tapped her on the shoulder.

"Y/N, you're spacing out again," Jisoo said, grinning.

Y/N snapped back to reality. "Sorry, just... thinking."

Jisoo raised an eyebrow. "Thinking about Seungmin again, aren't you?"

Y/N froze, a slight blush creeping onto her cheeks. "I-I am not!"

"Sure you aren't," Jisoo teased, crossing her arms. "You're staring at him again, aren't you?"

Y/N glanced in Seungmin's direction before quickly looking away. "No. I mean, yes. Maybe."

Jisoo laughed. "Girl, you're hopeless."

Y/N sighed, trying to ignore the small flutter in her chest as Seungmin walked past, laughing with his friends. He didn't even glance in her direction.
