Mr. Purple Sky

Ever wonder why the sky is blue? I mean, is it just the ocean reflecting up there? But… wait, that doesn’t even make sense—water isn’t exactly blue, is it? So then, why is it blue?

Hmm. I mean, maybe it has something to do with sunlight and the atmosphere… but for now, let's just go with the idea that it’s the ocean’s reflection, just for the sake of argument.

Then again—why does it turn purple if I stare at it long enough? Maybe my eyes are picking up too much red and mixing it with the sky’s blue? Or could it be… I don’t know, all the blood spilled across the earth?

Or maybe it’s just because it’s almost sunset.

Yeah, it’s probably that.

Anyway, while we’re at it… why is water wet?
