Bakugou's Perspective

The world exploded around him—the rough and tumble playground of elements, decisions, and burgeoning quirks. Katsuki Bakugou stood at the cusp of becoming who he was meant to be, the future number one hero, but all he could see was the smirk of Midoriya Izuku in his peripheral vision. In elementary school, the anger felt justified; bullying Izuku fed the flames of his ambition. The distinction between them was clear: where he burned with fury and explosive power, Izuku was a quiet ember, flickering in the shadows.

That all changed when their parents discovered the extent of his torment.

"Bakugou, you need to apologize," his mother had said, her voice curt but laced with warmth. "That boy has potential, and you're pushing him deeper into the shadows."

The ultimatum struck him harder than any explosion ever could. For the first time in his life, Bakugou had to pretend. Pretend to be nice. Pretend to care. He stomped over to Izuku, fists clenched. "Listen, you nerd. It's not like I want to—"

"Wait!" Izuku's voice interrupted him, trembling yet determined. "If you help me train, you can still be the best hero. I might not have a quirk, but I can still learn!"

Bakugou paused, brow furrowing. "You? Be a hero?"

"Yeah. I want to be worthy like you," Izuku replied, eyes glowing with determination that stabbed at Bakugou's heart.

At that moment, the seeds of an unusual partnership were planted. They formed an alliance built on the adage that enemies could become friends through a shared ambition.
