I walked through the hall that connected to outside, still waking up. I could have stayed in bed. Classes had been cancelled until the Triwizard tournament was over. I sighed, and just walked out to the court yard, sitting down on one of the benches. A lot of people had stupid pins with "Potter Stinks".

children really, all of them. I crossed my legs and started reading my book again. What? I like mythical creatures. "Why so tense Potter?" I heard Draco spit out. "My father and I have a bet, you see. I say you won't last for ten minutes in this tournament." He says hopping down from the tree he was in. "He disagrees. He thinks you won't last five." I sighed. Why is everyone so childish?

"I don't give a damn what your father thinks Malfoy. He's vile and cruel. And your pathetic." Harry said shoving Draco a little. Turning to storm away. "Pathetic?" Draco murmured pulling out his wand to set a spell on Harry. "Oh no you don't sonny!" I heard Moody say. I sighed and blocked it out.

I stuck to reading my book and not on messing around with... Well whatever was going on. Everyone being all petty. That's when something was flung over at me. Landing in my lap, on my book was... A white ferret?... What? I was so confused. I blocked everything out what the hell did I miss.

I looked up and saw Crabbe and Goyle looking over at me a little concerned but, then I noticed. They weren't looking at me, but rather the ferret. I also saw that professor Moody gave me a wink, as if to keep something secret. Harry on the other hand was smiling at him.

Proffeser McGonagall was scolding professor Moody about something I couldn't hear. I sighed and shook my head. I get this was Hogwarts, witches and wizards. Magic and weird creatures. But, I can never understand what goes on here. Whatever, I'll ask moody what's going on later.

Right now... I have to do something with this ferret. I looked away from the group around the tree and back to my book only to be met with the ferret looking at me. I sighed. "Okay, come on snowball. Your wrinkling my pages." I said, the ferret instantly moving off the pages.

Huh, oddly obedient for an animal. I tabed the page I was on and closed the book. I went to stand-up, but the ferret jumped onto my lap again. I sighed, I guess it doesn't want to stay here? I gently picked it up in my arm and stood up. Huh, that seemed to make it content.

Glancing over at the group, the only ones seeiming to still be there was... No of them. Great, guess I really will have to wait to ask moody what the hell was going on. Continuing to carry the ferret in my arm, my book in the other. I walked back to my dorm.
