The three of them sat down, with Nick and Chris across from Matt. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't awkward. The two immediately started talking about their lives and what they did for a living, throwing in quick quips of humor here and there. It felt natural, as if Matt had known them his whole life.

"You guys have a YouTube channel?" Matt exclaimed in shock. Nick beamed.

"Yeah! We just vlog and shit, and at first, it was for fun, but I've realized that I actually enjoy doing this, you know? To know that literally four million people out there give a fuck about our lives is insane. There are people out there who like us and find us interesting. Crazy, right?" Nick gushed, smiling fondly.

Matt was growing to like the two of them. Nick and Chris seemed like genuine people who appreciated everything they had. And Matt knew, that if anyone deserved the life that they got, it was them.

And yet, he still felt a pang of jealousy rack through his body.

All he wanted in his life was to be seen and to have people who cared. To figure out his two other triplet brothers have that life is somewhat sickening to him.

And what makes it worse is that they're triplets. Siblings born of the same blood, born bonded together from the start. Except that bond was ripped apart when he was stolen away.

He could be living the life Nick and Chris are living. But no, since everything in the world was against him, Matt had to be taken away.

Pushing a smile on his face, Matt responded.

"That's really cool! Do you guys, like, get recognized on the street often?"

"Nah, not really. I don't think many of our fans are in Boston, but we've haad the occasional fan here and there. It's fun, they're always really nice. Sorry, I got kinda caught up talking about me and Chris's lives. What have you been doing?" Nick questioned, tilting his head. Matt blinked.

"Huh?"

"You know, like... what do you do? Besides work here, obviously." Chris shot back, leaning forward in his chair. Matt felt a droplet of sweat drip down his temple.

"Uh... to be honest, not really anything. I go to college, and I'm majoring in psychology but if I'm being real the school sucks ass," Matt chuckled awkwardly. Chris frowned.

"Why stay there then? Is it the only school you can go to for psychology?" Matt shook his head.

"No, it isn't. I just don't have the budget to afford anywhere else. The course is... okay, but the teachers are really shitty. And the school is literally collapsing in on itself."

"That bad?" Nick concurred.

"That bad..." Matt agreed.

Silence fell over the three as Nick and Chris processed the information. They never realized how privileged they were to grow up in a financially stable family, emotions saddening as the twins realized they couldn't give Matt that life. Despite the dampened mood, Chris was determined to find out more about Matt.

"What do you like, then? What do you do in your free time?" Chris asked, breaking the thick air of silence.

'Besides literally fighting for my life in my own home? Lets see...' Matt mused bitterly.
