Chapter 1 - fifth year

Chrissy's POV
"Oi Jade! That's the wrong one!" I yell at my dummy of a friend, Jade Brunswick.
"I knew that," she said as she came over to me and her parents.
I would be with my parents if they hadn't disowned me when I was 11 for being in Thundermoon and not Amberfang. I'm glad that I don't have to live my so called 'family' anymore and that I'm not a Amberfang as they are all - and pardon my French - bastards. The lot of them, including my 'family'. As Jade was and still is my best friend, she told her parents what happened and they let me live with them, which was incredibly nice.
"Of course you knew that," Ronnie replied sarcastically, appearing next to me.
"Where did you come from?" Jade asked surprised.
"The hospital but if you really want more details -"
"No!" Me and Jade yelled causing Mrs and Mr Brunswick to laugh.
"Well you three should hurry along now so you don't miss the chariots," Mrs Brunswick.
"Bye," we all said before running off to get to our chariot.
In our first year four of us made a 'gang' and marked our initials onto one chariot so it's been ours ever since.
When we arrive we see Lia already inside the chariot.
For the whole journey we laughed and planned pranks for the year to come.

We pulled up at the gold gates of Summervalley Academy Magic. The scarlet and gold towers gleamed in the sunset as did the yellow and black ones. The sapphire Windows sparkled like dancers and the water seemed to glow an emerald green and silver.
We stood for a minute, looking at the view before heading to our seats which are in the middle of the Thundermoon table. Where we can see everything and never get caught talking and still hear the announcements.
We sat down and it didn't take long for everyone else to take their seats and for the first years to enter. Every time one got into Thundermoon we joined in with the cheering and the yelling to welcome the Thundermoon first years.
After the sorting a hush fell on the hall as our Headmaster, Headmaster Rydva, stood up.
"Welcome back to the older students and to those new students Welcome to Summervalley Academy!" He boomed, his voice bouncing around the large hall.
"I have a very special announcement to make. Our school shall have visitors from a wand school*," he said. Wand wizards and witches* are coming here? Then my 'family' might come.
"The school coming is ..... Hogwarts!" He boomed. Oh no.

Wand school - a school where the pupils learn magic with wands. At Summervalley they learn wandless magic and each pupil has three or more elemental gifts to learn.

Wand witch/wizard - a witch or a wizard that learns magic with a wand. Wand witches/wizards call the ones who learn wandless magic and three or more elements mages.
