The Talk

TIME SKIP TO THE DAY OF THE TRIP:
TIME: 4:30 AM.
PLACE: AIRPORT.
A: Is everyone here?
Everyone: Yes!
A: Alright, I'll be sending you guys the seating plan.
But the thing is Angela didn't know that Lucy and Tim had broken up.
LUCY'S POV:
Omg no! You have got to be kidding me. I forgot to tell Angela that we broke up omg. I guess I'll just have to deal with it.
TIM'S POV:
What?? Omg this is going to be so freaking awkward. I'll just stay silent the whole 10 hours.
They get seated and since it was so early, Lucy was exhausted. She tried her best not to fall asleep but failed and her head met with Tim's shoulder. He doesn't do anything about it even after the previous situations. Lucy wakes up to realize she fell asleep on his shoulder.
L: Omg I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to.
T: It's fine, really.
L: You sure?
T: Yeah of course. I mean we are landing in about 4 hours so if you want more rest, take it.
L: Thanks.
As soon as she said that, she fell asleep again but this time Tim wrapped his arm around her shoulders so she could be more comfortable. Right as he did that, he closed his eyes while falling asleep.
Angela had gotten up to go to the bathroom and saw them together so she decided to take pictures of them. She proceeded to go to the restroom and when she got back, she sent the pics to Lucy. The notification woke her up.

LUCY'S POV:
Omg his arm is around my shoulders!! How did this happen? Wait Angela sent me messages. WHAT! Oh yeah Angela doesn't know we broke up..

LUCY AND ANGELA'S TEXT CONVO:
               -Angela sent 4 photos-
L: Omg did you not find out?
A: Find out what?
L: That me and Tim broke up..
A: WHAT?? Well.. it doesn't look like it 😉
L: Stop! I don't even think he still likes me anymore..
A: Girl if he didn't, I wouldn't have had to take such pictures! He wouldn't have wrapped his arm around you like that.
L: Then why did he break up with me?
A: Just give him time. He has been struggling and he didn't want it to affect you. And I know you would have helped him but that's what felt right to him so do with that what you will.
L: Wait really? I never thought of it like that.. thanks Ang, for telling me and for the pictures 😂
A: You're welcome girl!
L: Hahaha
Tim slowly woke up due to Lucy moving
T: mhmm..
L: Sorry if i woke you up!
T: Nah it's okay.
L: Uhmm Tim.. Do you want to talk about.. well..
T: The break up? I mean only if you do. But since you're asking me, I'm guessing you are okay with it. So what do want to talk about?
L: Well.. the reason behind it? Why did you ghost me? Why did you break up with me?
T: Lucy I-
L: No excuses. Just tell me the truth. Please.
T: Alright. Well I'm going to start with why I "ghosted" you. So, Ray was a very dangerous man back in the days when I was in the army and he had come back stronger than ever. I wanted to give it a shot at boxing him in without anyone's knowledge. Not even Grey's. If I got anyone involved from the department, they would risk losing their job.
L: So why did you loop Angela in?
T: She volunteered and she has less to lose than you. She has Wesley's trust fund and his family's money.
L: Okay so get the reason behind that but..
T: You still want the reason behind the break up. I get it. Look, I have been struggling a lot. Getting demoted from Metro to Patrol Officer. The case with Ray. My past with Isabel is still haunting me. All of that together hurt me so bad, I didn't want it to affect you and our relationship. I know it isn't a good decision but it was the best. And I am very sorry for doing that to you but hey, uhm I am going to therapy so..
L: I'm heartbroken but proud of you. Look I could have helped you and you wouldn't have had to do all of that.
T: And again, I'm deeply sorry for that. I wish we could like we were before the relationship and that it isn't awkward between us..
L: No promises but we'll see.
T: Thanks for understanding me.
L: I mean I'm still sad but, it's fine and I get it.
As soon as the conversation finished, they landed. Wesley and Angela had rented a van to fit them inside to take them to the villa they were staying in.
Again, when Angela arranged the rooms and everything, Tim and Lucy were still together so they had to share everything. Even a bed.
