In the year 2000, Tony Stark had a brief, tumultuous encounter with a woman named Astrid June. The night they shared was marked by passion and chaos, but as dawn approached, Tony made a swift exit, fleeing from the aftermath of their encounter. It was the kind of hasty departure Tony had become accustomed to—one where he left behind not only physical traces but emotional ones as well.

Fast forward to the year 2001, and Tony Stark was at a Stark Industries Showcase, the pinnacle of his technological achievements and a symbol of his empire. The event was bustling with excitement, showcasing innovations that only Tony Stark could bring to life. It was amidst this sea of revelry that Tony came face to face with Astrid once again. He recognized her instantly, and a flicker of unease crossed his face. Tony attempted to slip away unnoticed, but his assistant, Pepper Potts, had other plans.

"Mr. Stark," Pepper said firmly, intercepting him with a determined look. "You need to speak with her. She has some information you should definitely know."

Tony's eyes locked with Astrid's, and he braced himself for what was to come. Rowan was as carefree and disinterested as ever, her demeanor betraying no hint of the gravity of her news.

"You have a daughter," Astrid announced flatly.

Tony's heart skipped a beat. "Where is she?" he demanded, his voice edged with urgency.

Astrid shrugged nonchalantly. "I don't know. At home with one of the guys I'm with? I don't really care for the kid that much. I never wanted to be a mom. I'm telling you 'cause if you don't want her, then I'll be giving her up."

A pang of something Tony couldn't quite name shot through him. It wasn't just responsibility he felt—it was a fierce protectiveness that had lain dormant, suddenly awakened. "I want her," he said, his voice firm and resolute. "Give her to me now."

Astrid laughed, a sound that was both mocking and dismissive. "You really want her in the condition she's in? I mean, you wouldn't really want that baby with you, right?"

Pepper's face contorted in horror. "What do you mean, 'the condition she's in'? What did you do to her?"

Astrid rolled her eyes with exaggerated frustration. "God, this baby is always crying. You'd think as her mother I could stop her from crying, right? Well, it looks like that's not happening anytime soon. What happened to hitting a bad child, it happens now and she screams louder"

Tony's gaze hardened as he took in Astrid's cruel indifference. The contrast between his growing sense of responsibility and Astrid's blatant disregard for her child was jarring. "You honestly should be in jail," he said coldly. "And that's exactly what I'm going to make happen after I take this girl out of your hands. She's mine now, and I could raise her so much better and love her more than anyone ever will."

With that, Tony pulled out his phone and dialed Happy Hogan, his loyal bodyguard and trusted friend. "Happy, I need you here. Now. Bring James Rhodes."

As Tony spoke, Happy and James Rhodes arrived promptly. Rhodes, clad in his military uniform, stepped out of the car and approached Astrid, efficiently handcuffing her with practiced precision.

Tony and Pepper quickly joined Happy in the backseat of the car, and they sped off to the address Rowan had reluctantly provided. The urgency in Tony's eyes was matched by Pepper's determined expression as they hoped to reach the child before it was too late.

As Happy drove through the streets of California, the cityscape gave way to a desolate road. They finally reached the address—a rundown house, barely more than a shell of its former self. The door had been replaced with a tattered curtain, which fluttered ominously in the breeze. Tony and Pepper pushed through the curtain and entered, their footsteps echoing eerily in the empty space.

The cries of a baby led them down a narrow hallway into a room that was a scene of utter neglect. The sight that greeted them was heart-wrenching: a tiny baby, no more than a few months old, lay on the cold, bare floor, wrapped in nothing but a flimsy onesie. In the corner of the room, a man lay sprawled out, his cigarette and bottle of beer within reach. The man's disheveled state and the stench of alcohol filled the room with a suffocating heaviness.

Tony's rage flared uncontrollably. Without a second thought, he stormed over to the man and delivered a powerful punch to his face. The man crumpled to the floor, knocked out cold by the force of Tony's anger.

Pepper moved swiftly, her maternal instincts kicking in as she picked up the baby. She looked down at the child, her voice softening with awe. "My gosh, she's gorgeous. Those blue eyes really do pop."

Tony approached, his anger dissipating into a profound sense of responsibility. He brushed his fingers gently against the baby's cheek, meeting those wide, innocent blue eyes. It was then that he fully embraced the reality of his new role—he would protect and cherish this child with everything he had.

The baby's cries began to subside as Pepper held her close, and Tony's heart swelled with a fierce determination. This was his daughter, his responsibility now, and nothing would ever come between them.

As they left the desolate house behind, Tony, Pepper, and Happy drove away into the night, a new chapter unfolding for Tony Stark and his newfound family. The road ahead was uncertain, but one thing was clear: Tony Stark would stop at nothing to ensure that his daughter was safe, loved, and protected from any threat.
