Highly decorated huge house. Lot of hustle bustle with lot of guests. Two boys are getting ready for the function in a room. Another guy from outside rushes to the room.

Aman – Are you guys ready? You will be called down soon. (Comes near one of the boys. Holding his hand) Arnav are you sure you want to do this? (Before he speaks the other boy speaks)

Akash – Stop it Aman....what do you want him to do? Don't spoil the day by giving him some stupid ideology of yours. (Looking himself at the mirror and smiling. Meanwhile Arnav squeeze Aman's hand lightly and smiles nodding affirmatively confirming he is fine) Anyway he is getting this opportunity only because we don't want to break the tradition of Raizada family where a younger brother cannot get married before an elder brother even if he is your cousin as per Papa. How ridiculous, otherwise why would I even bother if he gets married or not. Uhhh (Giving sarcastic look at Aman and Arnav he walks out of the room).

Aman – Why do you budge to all their demands? You know you don't have to do this right? You are just going to be 23 in 2 months and there is no hurry for you to get into this relationship. She is a kid of 20 years and still studying. It a huge responsibility

Arnav – Shhh... (Pass him a glass of water) calm down...why are you getting so hyper? I know what I am doing. Lets not delay come we have to be near the stage before the girls arrive.

Aman – Arnav ......think again......don't spoil her life if you are not serious. I know your ambitions. Don't do this to her....

Arnav – Aman..... I am serious in doing this.... don't worry I am good. Lets get this done. Now smile (Aman smiles awkwardly. Ratna comes to room. Arnav comes near her, bows to her feet and stand up. She places her palm on his cheek, tears form). Maa.... Don't cry..... its your son's engagement you got be happy.

Ratna – Chotte you don't have to fake before me. I know very well that this is not what you want (She holds his hand. Arnav just smiles).

Arnav – Maa please dont show your disappointment, especially infront of her, I am accepting her wholeheartedly and my instincts say she is the one for me and you. Please be happy and don't sulk. (Pulling her cheek. Looking back at Aman) you too. (Punches his bicep.. looking at them still not convinced...) ma ....I really want to help her...I don't know why...you know how I came to conclusion to marry her? (Ratna nods a no...he locks the door) Remember the day Chachi forced us to consider Khushi's proposal?

Manorama – Jiji....anyways Arnav has to get married one or the other day...at least look at the photo...meet her once and then decide... (She tries buttering. Before Ratna speaks...Arnav speaks)

Arnav – I am not interested in marriage as of now. There is lot in my plate and I don't want any more trouble hope you all understand that.

Akash – But I am in hurry ...bhaaaai...

Arnav – Did I stop you?

Manohar – But I am not ready to get him married before you. He is 2 years younger than you.

Arnav – Chacha ji...please don't force me...I will get married only when I feel it's the right time.

Manorama – Because you and your mother we are already facing tough time and you want to be a hurdle in my son's marriage too?
