Chapter XIV

Before heading inside Y/n's room the three went to find Ann and let her treat Y/n's injured arm,

"You should be starting to be careful on your next games." She scolded the girl, Y/n only scratch her cheek, it had been the first time someone scolded her for her careless actions.

It made her heart speed up, yet she disregarded the odd feeling.

After the treatment they continued their way to Y/n's room.

"How was your game?" Chishiya questioned, even though he already knew the answer, "I was the only one that survived." Y/n spoke softly remembering the incident.

Chishiya gave her a humm of approval. "Woah! Kushida, guess you're really good at the game, what card was it?" Kuina exclaimed, complimenting Y/n while walking beside her.

"Eight of hearts." Y/n spoke with a bit of pride lace on her voice. The girl nodded placing the cigarette in her mouth.

When they entered h/c's room she immediately lay on her bed, "What was your game?" Y/n ask the new female acquaintance, "Ah, seven of diamond but Chishiya was the one who did all the work." Kuina replied giving the girl a smile,

Y/n's gaze turned to Chishiya, he gave her  smirk. Rolling her eyes at him in return.

"I'm going to my room now I'm pretty tired." Kuina then yawn after her statement. "It was nice meeting you Kushida, Chishiya." She gave a small wave then left Y/n's room,

Y/n's eyes followed the female as she disappear from the room. When Kuina was finally out of view she stared at the male before teasing him. "Your fiancé?" She repeated, "And here I was just starting to feel jealous."

The male just shrugged. "Ne, Shuntarō, how was your game?" Y/n quizzed, changing the topic. Even though she heard it from the new acquaintance she wanted to hear it directly from him.

"It was easy." Chishiya nonchalantly state as if bragging. 

"That's good I guess." She replied feeding his ego more, "I'm just glad you survived, I swear I could feel your egotistical voice all the way from my game." Y/n added with a yawn after her sentence,

There a quick silence before Y/n spoke again, "I'll help you fill your curiosity about this place."

Chishiya hummed at her as a response as if he knew the female would agree with his plan. He stood up from the chair. "I'm going back to my room." Chishiya announced before leaving the room,

"Good night." Y/n whispered to no one once again staring at her ceiling lost in thought before she end up walking towards the curtain remembering to close it.

She stared at window as she saw several red lasers fall from the sky, "What the fuck." She breathed staring at the lasers,

She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

A silky h/c colored hair was flowing through the wind as her feet dangle on the edge of the rooftop. It has been weeks after Y/n and Chishiya had join the beach.

During the past weeks the duo now trio went their way and investigate the beach. Unlocking new knowledge about the situation.

Visas, barriers each games.

Chishiya and Y/n have also been promoted to executive members for always playing games. The duo had gladly accepted and recruited Kuina to their alliance.

Y/n, little by little started to get fond with the braided girl, through the weeks. Y/n had interact with most people at the beach earning a bit of popularity.

"Y/n, are you playing tonight?" Kuina ask looking at her female friend, they qere now on first name basis. "Yeah, my visa's about to expire." She replied with a small smile on her lips. "How bout you guys?" Y/n return the question towards the two.

"Yeah." Kuina gave a simple answer and Chishiya only nod, too focus on creating another diy weapon.

"Well, see ya tonight, I'm heading back to my room and rest." Y/n annouce at the two giving Kuina a small wave goodbye. "Bye, Y/n."

As for Chishiya he was still in his own little world and ignored what Y/n had said,

The h/cnette girl was about to lay down on her bed when her room door burst open, her head shot at the direction of the door, "Hatter has an announcement for all executive members." Ann announced opening the door fully.

Y/n pouted at the statement, trying to act innocent to get Ann to let her off just once, unfortunately Ann wasn't affected by her acting and dragged the sulking girl to the meeting room.

In the meeting room, all the executives were sitting on their designated seats. Ann and Y/n were the last one to take a seat.

"As you all know everytime you clear a game we received a card. I believe that if we collect all cards we can go back go the real world." Hatter began after he saw that all executive members were now present.

"So, all the cards everyone have will now be collected by militants and will be given to me since I am number one." After his little announcement he ordered all of people in the room to give their cards and immediately dismiss them.

Y/n handed all the cards she had won, most of them were heart games.

When the meeting room was almost half empty, Y/n also went back to her room and slept, wanting to gain stamina before she plays.

She thought of Hatter's theory and how impossible it was.

That stupid man don't even know what he was saying.

Few hours went by before it went dark outside, while putting her sweatpants on, Y/n's door opened. Her attention went on the blonde male, "You know it's rude to barge into someone's room, right?" Rolling her eyes she continued. "I might be changing you know."

"You're already in your swimsuit what more are you going to change to, besides it's not like I haven't seen it before." The male state nonchalantly.

Y/n threw one of her shoes at him which he easily dodge. "Don't remind me." She glare at male, as she start to turn red from being embarrassed,

Her memories flooded with a certain incident that had happened once, Chishiya walking in his bathroom while Y/n was taking a shower. The female swore to herself she'll erase that embarrassing moment on her mind unfortunately the blonde seems to have refreshed her memory,

After Y/n had finished putting her pants on, they left her room heading to the lobby, looking through the crowd searching for a specific braided hair girl. Spotting the said girl, Y/n waved at her to get her attention which work, Kuina jog towards them with a smile on her face.

"What group are you guys?" Kuina ask as she look at her paper to see her group. "Uh nine." Y/n answered, showing her number. "Aw man, I'm four." Disappointment plastered on Kuina's face.

"Seven." Announce his number to the two before putting his hand on Y/n's head while his other hand is in his hoodie's pocket.

The h/c hair gave a small glare at the male even though her face was beet red. Muttering underneath her breath, "My hair, you're ruining it." Though not enough for the male to hear her or was he pretending,

Kuina look at the pair smiling and nudging Y/n lightly by her shoulder, her glare move onto the braided female, "As much as I wanna tease Y/n I have to go to my group now." The braided hair girl laugh before jogging away to find her group.

"Take care." Y/n shouted before Kuina disappear from the crowd. After she left the two didn't waste no time to also separate their ways.

Y/n got into the car, unwrapping a bubble gum, she scan the car to see that she was paired with Aguni and another militant.
