It was just the two of us, tucked away in a tiny, cozy cabin built from warm wood. The kind that felt like it had been there for centuries, nestled against the mountainside. Outside, the rain fell steadily, tapping against the windows like a gentle rhythm that matched the silence between us. The weather was cold, a chill that crept into the bones, but the atmosphere inside was different-intimate, alive with the quiet crackle of the fire in the corner.
The room was dim, the flickering firelight dancing on the walls, casting soft shadows that wrapped around us. The scent of pine and wet earth drifted through the air from the trees and mountains outside, filling the room with nature's presence. The room felt private, like a secret we'd stumbled upon, just for us.
He sat on the couch near the fireplace, his back relaxed against the cushions, the warmth of the fire highlighting the lines of his chest through the half-open shirt he wore. His eyes, dark and intent, never left me. I was standing by the window,
wearing one of his oversized shirts with nothing underneath,
looking out into the storm as I snapped pictures of the rain. The water blurred the view, but it felt like a perfect reflection of the moment fleeting, beautiful, and just for us."Baby," he called softly, the word sounding like a caress. It made me turn, and when I saw him staring at me, a smile tugged at my lips.
"What?" I teased, unable to hide the warmth that spread through me at the sound of his voice.
He didn't answer with words, but simply stood and walked toward me, his movements calm but purposeful. As he got closer, I could feel the heat of his body, even though the room was cool. He reached out and took my phone from my hands, setting it on the stool beside us.
"Let me have you for a while," he murmured, his voice low and intimate.
His hands slid around my waist, pulling me closer. I could feel the strength in his arms, but it was gentle, as if he was holding me like something precious."I love you," he whispered, the words were more than just an expression-they were a promise.
I leaned up to meet his lips, and the kiss was slow at first, tender-an exploration. But it deepened quickly, the world outside fading into nothing but the space we shared.
My fingers threaded through his hair, pulling him closer as my breath became quicker, matching his. I could feel his hands moving under my shirt, tracing the curve of my skin, igniting something in me that I couldn't hold back. A soft moan escaped me, unintentional but real, as he touched me in a way that sent shivers through my body.
Without warning, he lifted me. My legs instinctively wrapped around his waist as he carried me to the couch.
"Hold on to me," he murmured against my lips, the sound of his voice rough with desire. I could feel his warmth against me, the steady beat of his heart a rhythm that matched my own.He laid me down gently, but I couldn't stay still. I pushed him back, settling myself on his lap, pressing my lips to his once more.
This time, the kiss was more urgent, the world outside a mere whisper in the distance.
I ran my fingers down his chest, unbuttoning the rest of his shirt as his eyes stayed locked on me. There was something unspoken in the way he looked at me-something deep, something that made me feel like I was the only person in the world that mattered."God, you're beautiful," he breathed, his voice thick with admiration. I removed my own shirt, letting it fall to the floor, the fabric sliding off my skin as he watched, his gaze burning into me.
We kissed again, and this time, it was all-consuming. His hands were everywhere, pulling me closer, as if he couldn't get enough.
His touch was like fire, and I was ready to burn with him. He flipped me over so that I was beneath him, and I gasped at the intensity of it. My hands pulled at his shorts, helping him remove them. There was no hesitation now, no space between us.
He kissed me again, his body pressing into mine, a steady rhythm that had us both gasping for breath as the room seemed to shrink around us.
We moved together, deeper, faster, until time seemed to disappear altogether.
After a while, we slowed, breathing heavily, both of us caught in the aftermath. We were tired, satisfied, but more than that-happy, in a way that only moments like this could make us feel.He laid back against the couch, pulling me onto his chest as the blanket we'd forgotten to notice earlier settled over us.
"Come here," he murmured, his voice soft now, gentle as he held me close. I pulled him tighter, feeling the steady rise and fall of his chest beneath me.
The fire crackled softly, the rain still falling outside, but inside, we were warm. Safe.
I kissed his cheek gently, my voice barely a whisper as I murmured,
"I could stay like this forever, as long as I'm with you."He smiled, his fingers gently brushing my hair away from my face. "Me too," he said quietly. "I'll never let you go".
