Harry's POV:

-Earlier on that night-

Belle looked beautiful in the little black dress that she wore. Holding her hand, I walked her down to my car where she usually sits. The passanger seat, next to me. That was her space and even when she wasn't there I would feel uncomfortable with anybody else sitting there but her. It felt so right, and I definetely enjoyed the feeling of knowing she was mine and I was hers.

We walked into the party room, she was pretty nervous so I tried to comfort her; it seemed to work. Louis (as usual) greeted us loudly; I chuckled along. Belle was looking around the room; I followed her eyes. They all led to girls who were staring at me; but I didn't care. I love Belle.

It was pretty calm and lovely just sitting there at the table; when she glances back and forth towards me it's really cute. Then I heard Tina and Caitline wobble over with Vodka in their hands. Belle looked so innocent compared to these girls. That's one of the things that I love about her.

"Thanks for coming handsome!" Quite taken a back, I looked at Caitline and instantly knew she was way from sober. Quite speechless, I just sat there awkwardly only to find both girls sitting either side of me. Feeling guilty, I tried to change subject and make them go away. "You have big biceps." Tina whispered in my ear, breath stinking of ciggarets. "Thanks, Happy Birthday. Me and Belle were just talki-" I tried pushing them gently away, but got interrupted by laughs. They were giving my Belle dirty looks. Anger fuming inside of me, I tried to contain myself in front of Belle. I would never hit a woman; ever but I was thinking of politely telling them to go away.

"What kind of name is Belle?" laughed Caitline, poking Belle. Clenching my jaw, I sighed. Why did Belle have to put up with this? Just as I was about to say something, Belle said something I never thought I'd hear her say. "Well at least I'm not fake." she hissed, Tina gave me a shocked look and laughed under her breath. "At least I'm not a faggot who went to the same guy after management split you up."

Everything slowed down. The first thing Belle did was look at me. She held the glance then darted them down to her feet. Tears were trickling down her pretty face. I knew I should've told her but I wanted to wait a while. She ran out of the room, dissapearing into the crowd. Tears springing to my eyes, I pushed past the girls and ran after her. The girls were talking rubbish about her behind me.

When I got outside I saw Belle sobbing quietly, goosebumps on her arms. "Belle." I shouted, running towards her. She looked at me again; her eyes bloodshot red. I made her look like this; I made her feel like this. "Why didn't you tell me..." she whispered, finding it hard to talk. A pang of guilt hit my stomach. "I didn't want to hurt you.." all I could do was not look at her, I couldn't look at what I'd caused. I tried wrapping my arms around her, she hit me repeatidly till I let go. "Why didn't you fight for our relationship?" her voice cracked haflway through, my heart was inches from being shattered. "I would've got fired." I cried, knowing it sounded pathetic.

Tina and Caitline were clapping in the background. I started dialling Louis to tell him to come downstairs. "My names CAITLINE." was all I could hear. I glanced up and saw them on the edge of the road. Freezing, I saw Caitline push Belle down onto the road. Screaming, I shoved my phone into my pocket and ran towards the road. But it was too late... my princess had been hit.
