I was dressing up and I realised my stomach looked bigger, this Damn bloating,I really got to stop eating these Carbs. I finished getting ready and so I decided to go eat something before leaving my house.
I made myself some bacon,eggs and a yoghurt bowl , sitting down I started to eat but I felt like puking so I put down the spoon of yoghurt and drank some water. My phone started ringing and it was Trevon.
"Hey" I smiled as I ate some of my eggs making me feel like puking as well.
"You ok?" Trevon asked
"Yeah I'm fine,I might be sick,I've tried eating yoghurt,I feel like puking and also the eggs are making me sick" I sighed
"I'm already outside,so let's get you to the hospital" Trevon sighed as he got out his car and hanging up.
I heard the door open and Trevon walked into the kitchen, I got off the kitchen stool and threw away my food into the bin.
"Get in the car and I'll get your bag from upstairs, I'll find you in the car" Trevon smiled and I grabbed my phone and got out the house and got into Trevon's car and waited for him.
I haven't had my period in 2 months,I don't know why it's so late this time,I hope nothing is wrong with me,I better hope it's not an early menopause.
We left my house and headed for the hospital, I fell asleep because I felt so tired and it was raining a bit .
Once we got to the hospital, Trevon helped me out the car and we walked into the hospital and I sat down as Trevon filled out some forms for me.
"Is that your boyfriend?" Some random woman asked me
"Yes he is" I smiled
"He looks very familiar" she shrugged
"Oh ok" I smiled
"Does he have a daughter?" She asked
"Yes he does,why ask" I smiled
"He comes to get his daughter at the school my daughter learns at,his a really good dad,my daughter and his daughter are good friends" the woman explained
"Aww that's so cute,what's your daughter's name" I asked
"Hazel" she smiled
"Aliya talks about a Hazel all the time,I'm guessing she's your daughter" I smiled
"Yess,yes I wanted them to have a sleepover this weekend if that's ok with you and your boyfriend" the woman smiled
"No problem,I don't mind,in fact here he comes ,we can discuss" I smiled and Trevon sat down next to me.
"Babe, this wonderful ladies daughter is Aliya's friends mom,she wanted them to have a sleepover this weekend" I told him
"Mrs Ramirez, how are you" Trevon smiled at the lady
"Trevonnn,I'm alright how are you" she laughed
"I'm alright too, Hazel can definitely come this weekend,Kiari will come pick up Hazel and Aliya on Friday after school " Trevon smiled
"Thank you,I need a break,my 2 eldest son and daughter have gone back to college and I'm always working night shifts in the hospital and My husband is out the state for a business trip,so my hands are a bit full" the woman explained
"We totally understand,we don't mind having Hazel over at all" Trevon smiled
"Kiari Hermes King" the doctor called out and Trevon and I stood up and followed her to her office
We got inside and Trevon closed the door behind us and we sat down .
"Good morning, how can I help you today Kiari" the doctor smiled
"Good morning, everytime I try to eat something I'm getting nauseous and feeling like puking,I don't know why because when I usually eat those same things I'm literally ok but today was different " I explained
"Alright, have you had these symptoms in the previous month ?" The doctor asked as she wrote down what i told her
"No this is the first month" I told her
"Alright,when were you last sexually active?" The doctor asked
"3 months ago" I told her honestly and she wrote it down as well
"Have you had your period in these last 3 months?" She asked
"No,I haven't,I thought it was an early menopause or something " I told her getting nervous
"Ok ,we will run a few tests then we'll see what's the problem " the doctor smiled
"Alright thank you " I smiled and we left the doctors room and she escorted us to the laboratory.
We waited for a few minutes as she talked to one of the nurses and she came back to us.
"The nurse will help you and when you're done you can wait in the waiting bay and we'll call you again when results are out" the doctor smiled
"Thank you " Trevon smiled and she left the laboratory
"Hello Kiari,I'm your nurse Deja,and we'll do a full blood test,plus a pee test to see your pH levels then you're good to go,now follow me" Deja smiled
"Alright " I smiled and I stood up and gave Trevon my purse and I followed the nurse to another part of the laboratory.
She did the full blood test and she gave me a cup to pee in,I left the laboratory and went to the bathroom where I peed in the cup and washed my hands and the bottle and I left the bathroom for the laboratory. I handed over the cup and Trevon and I went to the waiting Bay to wait for the results.
"What if I'm pregnant Trevon,I wasn't ready for a child,at least not yet ,I wanted to be married first " I sighed as I leaned my head on his shoulder
"If you are,I'm here to support you and the baby cause I know it's mine and I know how you feel,that's how I felt with Aliya but me and her mom conquered that and I know we will to ,so don't be scared I'm here for you " Trevon reassured me as he pecked my lips twice.
"Ok" I smiled as I went on my phone to text Alora.
" I bet you're hungry,we can get something for you once we leave then we can go pick up Aliya" Trevon smiled
"I really am hungry" I laughed and we talked about me being pregnant and how we would do parenting. An hour passed by and my name was called again and we went back to the doctor's office.
"You're results are back and we have some good news" the doctor smiled
"Alright " Trevon smiled
"You are totally fine,no fever,no disease or complications, and you are going to be parents in 6 months " the doctor smiled
"We are having a child?" Trevon asked in curiosity
"Yes you are, Kiari is 3 months pregnant,so the symptoms you were experiencing are totally normal in the first months of pregnancy,but they do get more extreme down the line but you'll be fine, I'll give you a diet to follow and I advise you not to do any heavy work, don't stress yourself out, do rest at all times and take walks from time to time " the doctor explained
"Thank you " I smiled
"You're welcome and congratulations,here is your diet plan ,have a great day" the doctor smiled
"We will thank you,you have a great day too " I smiled and Trevon and I left her office and we walked out of the hospital.
We were going to be parents. Let the journey begin
