"One day for the nostalgia of yesterday's being beautiful part of life and another day as unwanted memory."
Jaweria kamil
🌙
When we sincerely believe and wholeheartedly accept that some events, encounters, and relationships are divinely ordained and predetermined for our lives, why do we grumble and lament about the hardships we face? Should we? The arrival and departure of these challenges are beyond our mortal control.
Shouldn't we instead focus on improving the situation with wisdom and resilience, practicing patience and perseverance in the face of adversity, offering heartfelt prayers to seek guidance and solace, and trusting implicitly in God's infinite wisdom and mercy?
THE CALM MORNING BREEZE whispers secrets of tranquility, and soft light unfolds like divine wings.
Sania rises to pray. The gentle trickle of water against her skin feels like a blessing, washing away the remnants of slumber. As she finishes her prayer, she stands before the open window with closed eyes.
Today, Sania is supposed to rejoin the hospital, returning to what is supposed to be normal life. But who would have thought that she would be standing at this crossroads, tangled in the sudden decisions of past and present, just a week ago?
After standing by the window for a while, Sania leaves the room and glances upstairs at the closed door for a few moments before heading to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
For months, she had eaten alone, but today, for the first time in a long while, someone will join her. The thought lingers as she prepares the meal.
Once breakfast is ready, Sania waits for him. But when the door doesn't open, she decides to go to his room.
But she hesitates, thinking he might still be sleeping. But then, remembering that he usually leaves for work early, she convinces herself that he must already be awake.
Sania knocks gently and stands silently outside. Moments pass, and then the door opens. His hair is slightly damp, and her heart skips a beat.
"I was waiting... Come have breakfast," she breaks the silence.
He stands before her, looking at her intently. When Sania invites him to breakfast, a flicker of surprise dances in his eyes, followed by a gentle smile. She has never read anyone's eyes like that before.
"Did you make breakfast?" he asks.
"I made it for myself, but I made enough for you too. Will you join?"
"I rarely have breakfast... but today, I will."
He steps out with a soft smile, and Sania follows him downstairs. The breakfast table is set, and they sit down. He serves himself from the platter.
"Why don't you take it?" Sania asks, watching him.
"What?" he asks, slightly confused.
"Breakfast."
"Oh..." He chuckles. "You didn't used to make me breakfast before, that's why?"
"Anything else?"
Sania responds, rolling her eyes. He chuckles lightly in response. Though she knows that he is exaggerating, but it still warms her heart.
"Will you go to the hospital today?" he asks, initiating the conversation again.
"Yes."
"I'll drop you off," he offers immediately.
