" No, no, no this cannot be true." I exclaimed, tears pouring down my eyes as I watched my entire life's worth hard work crumble into pieces.
I am a self made billionaire, who had established a tech company, that was riding high, and it was earning a lot, until, it all fell down
Dayne was my best friend, my support, and my manager. He managed everything. From my funds, to my drunk-ass. He seemed so reliable, so friendly to me, that I trusted him blindly. I went ahead with any scheme he had, and signed the papers without any regrets, or a second look at them. I trusted him with my entire life, and he taught me a very valuable lesson.
Never trust anybody.
I walked into the building, and it was full of investigators. I gave them a confused look, when he nodded, and led me into my room.
My manager had left.
Turned out, that all this time, he had been taking tiny portions of my money, that in the end, amounted to more than a million, and then, he just ran away. And, that psycho, even confesed to the police, and told them that he was gone for good, and won't come back, that too, over a call.
Tears rolled down my eyes. The man that I had trusted, had broken my whole business, and we needed money. We needed immediate money to recover from this loss, or to even file a lawsuit against Dayne.
That little prick. He got away.
The investigator left me alone, and I cried for hours. The man I had my entire trust on, the man who I knew as my twin, as me, I treated him like my own, and he did this. He left me, when we needed the money...we were investing for a big project, and the clients, were filing a lawsuit. We needed money, as soon as we could get it, but, I had none. He had drained my account, leaving me with nothing. Not even one cent.
I looked outside. The sun was setting, and it reminded me of that prick again. We used to go out, to watch the sunset, and laugh. But the sunset, only made me angrier now.
I needed immediate money.
Suddenly, the biggest mafia in America, burst open my doors.
" Hey don't you know how to kno-" I said, but my heartbeat raced as I saw Rafael DeLuca enter my room
" S-Sir.." I stuttered, unable to speak.
Rafael DeLuca was a handsome man, with all the charms. He had almost as if carved, body, and a handsome face. He as wearing a black suit, and his hair was a mess. He was 25, quite young to be a mafia guy, but being 20 I was also young to be a billionaire- ex billionaire.
" I'm not here to kill you, but, to strike a deal." He said, his expression unreadable.
I sat down on my chair, and cued him to sit on the chair opposing me. He put his arms front, and said,
" I need you to be my wife." He said, his face still not giving away any expression
I was in deep trouble.
