Broken Ice is very different from my usual writing genres, but it was really fun to write. Just a quick disclaimer before reading: I do not figure skate. This means I had to do research and there are times when this research will fail, so please do not go into this story thinking it will be completely accurate to your figure skating experience. Also, I'm Canadian and speak French but I'm not from Quebec so it also may not be your personal experience.
However, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it, and feel free to give me feedback about either quality or ways to improve the accuracy of the figure skating or cultural elements.
