I wanted to tell her that her mom is safe and she is safe too. I won't let anyone hurt them. But the words sucked inside my throat.

My heart ache every time I look at her desperate. Disappointed and scared face.

"Where is she Theo!!" she asked again.

I took a sharp breath.

"She is safe with Nonna, my grandma!"

Everything went silent.

The room felt empty as if there was nothing in the room for decades.

Clock ticking could be hear loud and clear.

She didn't say anything and kept quiet.

I hesitantly took a step toward her.
Good thing she didn't moved but just kept looking at me.

I was now standing a step away from her. One step closer and our bodies will be colliding together.

"amore" she didn't said anything so I continued.

"I know you are mad. If you want I can kneel!"
I went down on my knees as I continue. She didn't responded but her eyes moved along with my action.

I sat on both of my knees, holding her thighs, looking up at her. Her eyes went wide.

Great at least some reaction.

"I am in a dangerous profession. Any moment could be my last-" her eyes flickered. "- but amore I am strong enough to protect myself. I am... the mafia king!" her eyes widened.

I gulped as I continued.

"Amore I might be physically stronger than everyone, but my heart___ it will destroy if I lost you. I have no freaking idea how but you have my heart even before i could react." she bites her lower lip, her usual reaction every time she is nervous.

"-maybe it was the first time we met or maybe when you threaten me or maybe it was the time when you looked at me nervously asking for pen." her face now somewhat red from the memory flashback.

I tried not to smile. This is important, I took a deep breath and let it go in a swift movement I looked back at her.

"You are my world. My life. My love. My everything. I will die for you. To protect you I would do everything." I looked at her, determined to show her what I felt.

She didn't said anything but her eyes were telling the story. I saw some tear drops bubbling in her eyes.

I wanted to stand up and wipe them of before they even dare to fall, but now wasn't the right time. She doesn't believe me.

She is scared.

Hell, I would stay on my knees until she says so.

Her voice was trembling inside, and I could see her body shake, as the tears became more visible.

"Amore, I dare you to let those tears fall." I said, looking at her daringly.

"It has nothing to do with you!" her voice low but sharp close to breaking.

"It has everything to do with me! Amore!" I looked at her desperately.

"Get up Theo!" she took a sharp breath while looking away.

No this is not right.

I pulled her thighs toward me, making her land on my lap while I was on my knees. Taking her off guard, she squealed.

My hands wrapped around her back, her hands around my neck. Our faces were just an inch apart.

I looked at her in the eye. Observing the tears which were now rolling down her cheeks from the sudden movement.

I kissed her cheeks, licking off the tears.

Her body shivers every time my lips touch her skin.

'Theo!" her voice muffled in heavy breaths.

I hummed. Continuing the kissing until there were no tear stain.

Her grip on my neck tightened as I rub her back trying to calm her heartbeat thumping.

Her uneven breaths making her chest heave up and down faster than usual.

Her every reaction was making me go crazy.

Blood was rushing all over the veins as if going for marathon.

I kissed her eyes and looked at her.

Her face was reddened, I like how I can make her blush this way. I hold my smile back. Focusing back on the main topic.

"Amore never I mean never let those tears fall. The only time you are allowed to cry is-" I looked at her confused look.

I went near her ears as I continue. "-in my bed. Screaming my name."

I swear I felt her body shivers from all the heat. I kissed her earlobe and get up keeping her secure in my arms.

"W-Where are you taking me!?" she finally spoke something.

"To meet your mom." I saw her eyes going wide as if realizing something. She glared at me.

"don't think just because of your confession earlier I would let you go!!" she said threating.

"sure" I smile. It's a progress. It's fine if she is mad, I can take care of that. But if she doesn't speak and remain silent, that would be a slow death to me.

I nuzzled her neck, still holding her tight in my arms.

"I love you!!"

She remained silenced but I can feel her sudden heart race, I smile. At least there is some reaction.

I start walking out toward my car, I can see Lorenzo and Lili in the distance. I nod signing him, he understood pretty well because he carried Lili on his shoulder and went toward his bike.

I smirk when I saw Lili punching him in the back.

Well, he deserves a treat latter on.

"Wait that was Lili right!! I heard her voice!" she looks back. Good thing he was already out of sight. 

"You will see her there "I said before she could ask.

I can feel her stares. I looked at her.

"Amore don't worry nothing will happen her. And she is____ umm kind of related" I gulped hard when she furrows her eyebrows.

"Wait what you mean!?"
