The sound of giggles and the baby rattle filled the room. Their the girl was in her crib , just minding her own business existing. As she laid in the crib staring at the stars displayed infront of her. Subconsciously reaching for them with her free hand, she had no idea she wasn't alone.
"Oh child, enjoy your time now. You won't have it forever.", the voice was barely a whisper. A very sinister low tone.
They took one more look at the crib, noticing the baby had now went to sleep. They disappeared in a cloud of black smoke, vanishing the area.
Just then, not even two seconds later after the culprits escape the room to the door opened. Revealing a woman and a man, peeking through the door staring at their daughter in her calm slumber.
"We haven't done anything wrong. have we?", the woman asked looking up at her husband. He caressed her shoulder in support and kissed his wife on her forehead.
"No my love, it's not a crime to have children.", She frowned at her husbands words.
"Maybe it is for us.", she thought to herself, looking at her baby one more time before closing the door.
