DERIVED OF PARADISE

There I was again, left with so many unanswered questions. How did he know do much about me and why was he being so violent .
I decided against finishing my meal since my appetite was ruined. I decided to go back to my room along the stairs I met hanzai dressed up ready to leave. I looked away avoiding eye contact ,he barely spared me a glance and walked away.

Once I reached my room I was too worn out and decided to sleep. Just as I was about to get in bed I heard a faint scratching at the door.

Upon further inspection I met a dog at the door. I was bewildered since the dog was huge , a yelp escaped My mouth as the dog started making its way in my room.

I started moving back and soon my panic got the best of me, I tripped over the the carpet and fell. The canine beast grew closer but to my shock the dog just got on my bed and laid there.

Once I gathered myself and went near the bed, the dog was asleep. I let my guard down and laid on the bed some distance away from the dog . Soon I feel asleep.

When I woke up I feel really warm and realised the dog had scooted closet to me and was now in my arms. There eerie feeling of being watched grew . I the room was dark ,it was only then that I realised I had slept literally the whole day . Maybe effects of the previous chasing had not worn off .

I switched on the lamp beside me my heart almost stopped. There he was sitted as if staring at someone in the dark was the most casual thing.

"You know keeping up with you is gonna be troublesome. "

"I clearly tell you don't touch my things yet you keep on disregarding my request all on your first day".

With every word I could feel the surge of anger and the resentment he harboured against me.
"Why are you treating me as if I asked to be married to you. As much as you don't want I also don't. And it's not like I called your dog to come to me ."
"I mean look at the size if that thing it looks more of a black lion than a dog" I said inaudobly.

"Hmm I didn't come to argue I just come to see what was going on , I shall take my leave ". Without another word he took the dog and left .

That was the finall time I interacted with him that month. The very next dat he went for a business trip for a few weeks . As expected I was elated , but it was not only me the demeanour of the whole household changed.

The workers were friendly and we interacted from time to time. But one in particular was a rookie trainee for Hanzai's security. He was around my age and I was very fond of him.
He would often take me for evening strolls around that fortress.

On one such evening I decided to ask him to take me to shop for some things. Although hesitant he agreed . It was unbeknownst to him of the fued that actually led me to there. Although it was wrong of me to take advantage of him I decided to use my luck.

Passing security was a breeze since they didn't suspect him and the extra tint in the car windows concealed my presence . When we finally reached the mall I choose some clothes and asked him to wait for me outside .

The mall was packed that evening and so were the small dressing room stalls. A group of girls started giggling and cheering on there freind who had chosen an outfit. As they were leaving I blended in with there click . There were about six girls and it helped me get past Vaughn .

As soon as I got out of the clothing store I sprinted out towards the existing. It had only been two weeks since the last incident, and here I was again. I could only assume people thought I was insane running while pushing people in the crowd. The entrance had a few people than the inside so It was much better.

Just as I reached the parking lot I bumped in to someone's chest. I quickly started to apologise and the stranger noticed my frantic nature. He questioned me and I lied saying I was in a hurry to get home.
I decided I would get a lift from him then I would tell him to drop me off at a random place and I would finally be free. The ride was quite and the stranger barely spoke. I had started to dose of due to all the running until I noticed the huge gate before me .
" no no no this couldn't be happening again I was back to Hanzai's house .

I stared at the stranger then he spoke in a tone that made my skin crawl.
" It's rude to leave without informing your husband" .
From the corner of my eye I could see Vaughn's vehicle behind us.
So this only meant this was a set up that they had all been in on.
