(This is the actual story! This took place 7 months later when Alex recovered mentally)

Alex entered the office building hopeful to forget her past. A well dressed lady sat at the front, her already pale face brightened with the light from her computer. Her head perked up at the sound of nearby footsteps. "Hello! Welcome to Frost Tech." Alex quickly jogged over to the desk. Alex stayed quiet, trying to find words. The lady looked at her in concern. "ma'am?" Alex shook her head clearing her mind from the racing thoughts. "I'm so sorry, I zoned out just now." Alex chuckled nervously. "I'm the new assistant here. Alex Sanchez." She had another long pause "Floor 6 I believe." Alex added, and the woman in front of her nodded. Typing something on her computer. Alex waited patiently. After what felt like an eternity, the lady looked up at her. "Take the staff elevator sweetie, have a good day, and the CEO will see you momentarily." the lady retrieved something from her desk, and extended her hand to Alex. The item in her hand was her employee tag. Alex who was grateful, grabbed it. "Thank you miss, see you around."

Alex smiled before making her way to the elevators. Alex looked with caution at the signs. She stopped at the staff elevator and pressed the open button. She looked around patiently. Her eyes landed on a familiar looking guy, he looked like one of the guys who had captured her. Her breathing became heavy as memories of that night flooded into her mind. Her heart raced as she began reassuring herself it wasn't them. She'd killed them all, right? As her mind raced the elevator door opened. Alex managed to push herself in there. She fell to the ground. Reassuring herself. "they're gone, they're gone. Forever." Alex soon calmed down enough to stand up and brace herself for her new job.

The elevator doors opened revealing a well decorated office. Filled with cubicles. Others unmoved by her presence. Alex found this comforting. Alex waited, as she was instructed to wait by the elevator for the CEO. She watched others work hard, as if trying to impress someone. Alex assumed it was the CEO. As he was looking for an assistant, but Alex took the job. A large man entered the room. His frame is easily towering over anyone. Everyone immediately stood up as if he was a king. Alex turned to man, her eyes widening. Recognizing the man instantly. Damian, her ex boyfriend.
