(What the fuck? Why is everything dark?! Why am i wet?) Brooke thought to herself as she tried to move but chains held her in place. Suddenly the lights turned on, the sudden brightness making Brooke squint. (What the hell?!) Brooke shouted in her head as she looked. She was in a large container of water, a breathing device on her mouth and nose. Suddenly she could hear speakers turn on as a familiar voice said,

"Oh Brooke, you used to be such a sweet little girl, and then one day your dad pushed you off a boat into a lake, just joking around. But you got tangled in a broken net at the bottom. Squirming and frantically trying to get free, you nearly drowned. Yet right before death hit you, you broke free. When you surfaced your dad, scared, pulled you up. He apologized thousands of time but instead of telling him it was alright you did what? You remember, don't you Brooke?" Brooke looked at the ground as painful images of her picking up the heavy toolbox and beating her fathers head in until he cried out for her to stop, then having to be rushed to the hospital he barely survived, but was forever disfigured. "Well because of that your biggest fear is now drowning, so it's time to face that fear. When i finish talking the breathing device keeping you alive with come off, and you will have 30 seconds to use a key to unlock each individual lock strapping you in the tank. You have thirty seconds and when the clock hits zero you'll be dumped out alright, but into another tank filled with battery acid. Lets just say that is a worse way to drown." Brooke started kicking frantically.

(What key?! I don't see a key!) Brooke thought as she looked around.

"Oh and the key? Lets just say its already in your hand" the man cackled as the speaker turned off. Suddenly a timer on the wall in front of her turned on, thirty.

(Fuck what does he mean?!) Brooke thought as she was barely able to move her hand. She looked at the palm and was horrified. (No no!! This isn't happening!) she thought as she saw that the key was inside her hand, just under the first layer of skin. (How do i get this out?!) she wondered as she looked around. Then she saw it. In front of her on the wall of the tank a big razor sharp
Blade was strapped to the wall. (Im
Supposed to cut my hand open?!) she thought as she looked at the timer, twenty-four. Without much of a choice Brooke started to sway, getting closer to the blade. Twenty-one. Brooke winced in pain as she reached the blade, it sliced her hand and blood pooled into the water. (Ahh fuck!!) she screamed her mouth open. Then she found the key floating in the water, and grabbed it. Eighteen. Brooke felt for the locks, two on her stomach. She reached the key in and turned it, click, the lock fell to
The bottom. She turned the key in the second, click. Fifteen. Brooke unlocked the one on her other hand, then once it was off felt two on each thigh. She started reaching for them, click, click. Ten. (Okay i got this, piece of cake. Eight. Brooke started unlocking a lock around her legs as the air left her lungs, and her face was getting purple. they both came off. (Now just the two on my neck! Hurry Brooke!) she thought as she reached up. Five. The first one came off easily. Three. As Brooke reached the last lock she stuck it in, but suddenly her hand twitched and she accedently dropped the key. (Noo!!!) Brooke shouted as she reached for the key and hurriedly tried to unlock the last lock. Too late. Zero, the container tipped forward, pouring out, but going forward instead of back. Brooke slid out as the last lock unlocked and fell forward, she slid right into the container of battery acid. Brooke kept her eyes and mouth closed tight, but it wasn't enouph, battery acid started burning her flesh and going up her nose, the pain got worse and worse until she had it open her mouth, trying to get air. The acid flooded her mouth and lungs as all at once she died, her hurt burning up. Brooks body lay there, to forever melt in battery acid.
