Camryn Vienna Hale was born 29th of February, 1980, to her parents Marianna and James Hale. That was the first mistake of her life, being born. James and Marianna were fugitives, running from everyone since the age of 16. Camryn had three younger siblings, Evelyn, Lorelai and Halston. With her parents never being around, Camryn single-handedly raised her siblings from the age of 9, to the point they started referring her as their mum. Camryn had been to everything their parents had missed out on. Show and Tell, meetings with teachers ( she tried, didn't even get passed the front door ), shows and plays they were in. Camryn Hale was the mother to her siblings.
25th of December, 1994 was the day everything changed to Camryn Hale. She lost her family that day. Her two sisters, aged 12 and 10, and her baby brother aged 6 lost their lives that day. Her parents became even worse that day, and Camryn lost her lifeline. Her babies. The 14 year old changed, she ran away, started using anything and everything anyone sold to her, and ended up in a different state after a year of running.
Jason Gideon and David Rossi were working a case 23rd of November, 1995. Homeless people had been getting killed, and their murders had been made to look like suicide. Their youngest victim was a 16 year old boy, and they had found DNA on him. DNA belonging to Camryn Hale. They brought her in and realised her state. The nearly 15 year old was a child. A baby, and had been a suspect for the murder of 6 people. Greyson Brooks was the boy they'd found. Greyson was Camryn's new reason, after loosing her whole family Greyson had found her, helped her out and becoming her guardian-angel on the streets. At the age of 14, Camryn had lost 4 people in 2 months. All because of murder.
Gideon and Rossi were working the case for 2 weeks and had finally found the murderer by the end. During those 2 weeks, they both practically took Camryn under their wing. They helped her, got her motel rooms, gave her money, food and clean clothes. Camryn had grown an attachment to them. Can you blame her? 2 FBI agents, looking out for her and caring like nobody else had. David Rossi wanted to take her in. He did, but his book had just been published and was finally getting the attention, he would be travelling and going to book meetings, and didn't want to take the girl in and still not be there for her. So Jason Gideon did.
Gideon was Camryn's father. Blood or not, he was. He took her in and helped her get clean, got her into school, and by the age of 17, he got Camryn into college to study science and criminology. At 21, Cam graduated college and moved to Las Vegas to join their Crime Lab and become a CSI. Camryn loved it there, she loved her friends, her closest being Greg Sanders and thought she had finally found her place to call home. She missed Gideon, of course she did, but he supported her and understood if she had to cancel her flight to come back to Virginia on a weekend because of work because he had been in that exact place. At 23, her parents had found her. They started sending threats to her friends, they took Greg and tortured him for a week straight to lure Camryn back to them. After saving Greg, Cam left. No note, not text, no call, she just left. The only time she did send a text it was to her boss after she had gotten back to Virginia and all it said was "i quit. i'm sorry".
The Hale girl got back to Virginia and went to the only place she knew she could ever call home. She went back to Gideon, and after being on a break from work for 6 months, she went to the FBI academy to train to become an FBI Agent. She wanted to be like Gideon, to catch people like her parents and save people like her siblings.
The day of her 25th birthday, Camryn was officially a profiler and started her new job. Staring her new job, she ran into Spencer Reid. She knew Spencer, she had met him a couple times in LV and she had heard enough about him from Gideon to know him like a brother. Growing closer, she found herself imagining he was Halston. She knew he wasn't, but the Spencer was the type of person she wanted Halson to grow to be. Spencer Reid was Camryn Hales brother, and he knew it.
Elle Greenaway. Elle was Camryns sister. Like she did with Spencer, Cam imagined Elle to be Evelyn. Elle was everything to Camryn, probably too much. The young agent risked everything for Elle, nearly getting suspended a couple times for risking her life trying to help her, even though Elle was in a different position of the FBI, even before she joined the BAU.
Derek Morgan. Camryn Hale hated Derek Morgan. He was cocky, too flirty, and was overall Camryns least favourite person on the team. Until that night happened and everything changed between them, in a good way which surprised their teammates, especially Spencer who got so used to hearing Camryn complain everything Derek did every single day. He became her 3rd closest friend and soon became much more...
Aaron Hotchner was a sad man. Camryn learnt that, the few times she had seen him smile it was when JJ was telling her and Derek to stop arguing like children, and the couple times she had tripped ( far too many times ). Cam cared for Hotch, he cared about his team in his own way, but still in a way they knew he cared. Aaron Hotchner was Camryn's boss, but he was so much more than that.
Jennifer Jareau was someone that Camryn looked up to. JJ was a strong female who had to deal with backlash from many people during cases, mostly Strauss and had to put up with the stress the team gave her. That's what Camryn loved about JJ, she never gave up. She knew JJ would be a good mother, she was the team's mother in a way, and she knew it.
Jason Gideon was her Dad. He always would be, no matter what happened on the team, all the things that happened on cases and how loud he could be sometimes, Camryn could never hate Gideon. After he hit his depression after the bombing incident, Camryn was there. She'd always be there, she wanted to be there for him the same way he was for her.
Camryn Hale was 9 years sober and was slowly getting better. Camryn Hale was an important person to people, and was finally getting loved in the way she deserved all her life. Camryn Hale was a lost soul, searching for her reason and had finally found it. Until...
- vivianna hi guys, this is so long but i wanted to introduce Cam finally and tell you her backstory and explain who everyone is to her. By the time of the first chapter, Cam had been in the BAU for 6 months, and is 9 years sober ( i'm so proud of her guys😠😠 ) anyways i hope you like this, pls don't be a silent reader and tell me if there's anything i can do to make this better <3
