In the heart of a bustling city on Earth, neon lights flickered and buzzed, casting vibrant reflections on the rain-slick streets. Adrian Nightshade, a restless 16-year-old, wandered through the chaotic streets, drawn by a sense of yearning he couldn't quite name. His mundane life had grown stale, but tonight, something felt different. As he strolled aimlessly, his gaze caught on a small, nondescript bookstore tucked into the corner of an alley. The store's faded sign and dimly lit windows gave it an almost magical air. Something about it pulled at him, an inexplicable magnetism. Curiosity stirred, he stepped inside.
The interior smelled of old paper and forgotten time. Adrian weaved through the cramped aisles, his fingers grazing the spines of countless books. Then, his hand stopped on an ancient-looking tome, bound in cracked leather and radiating an aura of mystery. Dust floated lazily in the air as he carefully pulled it from the shelf.
He didn't know why, but he had to have it.
On his way home, cradling the book under his arm, fate took a cruel turn. A speeding car swerved out of nowhere, slamming into Adrian. The world blurred into chaos, and then—darkness.
Adrian opened his eyes to find himself suspended in a vast, black void. It wasn't frightening; it was peaceful. Silent. Then, out of the emptiness, a figure emerged. A man with snow-white hair and an aura of divine authority approached. His presence seemed to ripple through the void.
"Welcome, Adrian," the man said, his voice calm and resonant. "I am the God of Death."
Adrian blinked, trying to comprehend his situation.
The god sighed and lowered his head. "I must apologize. Your death was an accident, a miscalculation on my part. You were not meant to die yet."
Adrian's heart raced, but he masked his confusion with a smirk. Before he could respond, the god continued, his expression filled with remorse. "To atone for my error, I will grant you ten wishes. Anything you desire—no matter how unreasonable—I will make it so."
Adrian stared at the god, dumbfounded. His mind reeled, but a creeping thought began to form in the back of his mind. An accident? Really? If he's the God of Death, how does he make mistakes like that? He didn't voice his suspicions, but the idea lodged itself in his thoughts like a splinter.
"Well, life was getting pretty boring anyway," he said casually, masking his unease. "Let's see... ten wishes, huh?"
The God of Death nodded solemnly.
Adrian rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Alright, for my first wish, I want to be reincarnated into the world of Trash of the Count's Family."
The god raised an eyebrow but agreed. "I will create a new body for you," he said. "Do you have any preferences?"
Adrian's smirk widened. "Absolutely. I want to be a hybrid—a creature capable of transforming into any animal, mythological, supernatural, or extinct. I want to be powerful and skilled in swordsmanship. Oh, and I want to look something like this..."
He went on to describe the body he envisioned—an imposing yet graceful figure with unique traits reflecting his hybrid nature.
The God of Death nodded, mentally noting the request. "Done. And your second wish?"
Adrian grinned. "Infinite wealth. I'm going to need it if I'm going to thrive in that world."
The god agreed without hesitation. "Consider it granted."
"For my third wish," Adrian continued, "I want a game-like system. Something that lets me see my stats, track my abilities, and access a store with items from different worlds, novels, and anime."
(if you have any ideas on the items that be stored and the shopping system, please let me know)
The God of Death nodded again, impressed by Adrian's ingenuity.Adrian wasn't done. "I also want the ability to create my own ancient powers," he said. "For now, I'll start with one: Mythos Sculpting. I'll call it Imaginarium Genesis."
He described the ability with precision: the power to breathe life into imagination, creating mythical creatures and entirely original beings with limitless possibilities. The creatures would be bound only by the limits of his creativity, each with unique abilities and appearances.
The god smiled faintly. "You've put a lot of thought into this. Your ancient power will be part of your new body."
Adrian shrugged, satisfied for now. "I can't think of anything else yet. I'll save the rest of my wishes for later."
The God of Death nodded. "You can contact me anytime through the system. Now, it's time for you to begin your new life."
The void faded, and Adrian's vision darkened.
