Shadows in the Night: Chuuya's Choice

A Fight

Chuuya's POV:

I was walking down a dimly lit alleyway following a strange yet familiar scent. When I was at the end of the alley I was met with a brick wall and a choice to go left or right. I then sniffed the air trying to determine which way the scent is coming from. I was focused on the scent until a deafening scream coming from the left. Like anyone would've, I followed it, not knowing what I was actually gonna have to face.

When I arrived at the scenery I saw a guy on top of another the guy who was now on the floor was all bloody up and bruised. While the other one had a couple of bruises and scratches but that was it.

"I told you not to tell them, DAZAI!", The guy on top of the other screamed into the others face.

" I -cough- didn't", the young brunette said weakly with a bit of blood coming out his mouth from the cough.

"You bi-", the other guy raised a fist ready to punch the brunette. The brunette flinch as he knew what was going to happen. I ran up to the guy and yanked him of the brunette by pulling the arm that was in the air and shoving him on the ground. I then crouched down over the guy and grabbed his throat while slowly standing up with his feet slowly lifting of the ground. I then pinned him to a wall with my eyes glowing red with hunger. 

"If you touch him with your crusty, musty hands I will not hesitate to slice your throat open and tear you apart and leave you to bleed out.", I said as I quickly tossed him onto a wall making it slowly crack.

As the wall collapsed onto the stranger I turned around and saw the brunette passed out with his bandages smeared with blood and dirt. 

I'm going to have to take care of you, won't I?

As I crouched down to his passed out body, the scent that I smelt earlier started to get stronger and stronger. It smelt like vanilla and chocolate. I picked him up bridal style. Surprisingly he was extremely light, lighter than most people would be. I started to walk home with him in my arms, he started to nuzzle his head into my shoulder as I giggled at how cute it was.

When I reached my house it was around one am and I could feel the brunette getting cold almost too cold. As soon as I got in I sat him on the couch and went to the kitchen counter. I searched for the first aid kit and when I spotted it I ran back to the couch. I sat on my knees in front of the brunette who was laying down unconscious.

I then took the bandages out of the first aid kit, sat them down next to me and took the ones that Dazai had on off. As I slowly took them off I could see cuts and bruises covering most of his skin, the only parts you can see is between the cuts.

———After I finished cleaning his wounds———

I picked Dazai up bridal style and carried him to my bedroom, I then laid him on my bed. I was about to walk off until I heard muffled noises coming from the brunette as he reached for my arm.

"Stay...please"

I looked at him his eyes slightly open. I was staring into his eyes for awhile.

"I need to do something then I will come back, ok?"

"Ok", he said slowly letting go of my and resting it on a pillow while closing his eyes.

I went down stairs to the front door and outside finding the guy that hunted Dazai. 

When I found him he was unconscious, still living, but taking a long nap. I crouched down near his neck smelling the blood coming from him. I bit his neck taking a lot of blood from it. When I was done his face turned pale as if he was in Antarctica, but only had a singlet and shorts on.

I went back home upstairs and saw Dazai staring at his arms. I got on the bed and wrap my arms around his waist.

"Did you change my bandages?", The brunette asked while facing me.

"Yes, we will talk about it in the morning right now you need sleep."

I pushed him so he was laying on the bed as I did he pulled me down snuggling his head onto my chest.
