The moon was suspended in the dark sky, casting a gentle glow over the earth. She was sitting in a corner by the window, a book in her hand. Her room was looking more lively now, with much added furniture, curtains and rugs adorning the walls and floor. Empty shelves were filled with books and decorations. Different frames and portraits were hanging on the wall.

She was mindlessly turning the pages back and forth when a knock on the door startled her. Shortly after, Sofia came in carrying her stuff and clothing bags. She placed them on her bed and turned towards her.

"I brought everything you will need tomorrow, let me know if you need anything else."

"Okay."

"Are you alright?"

"Hmm."

"You've been in your room for quite sometime, what's up?"

She asked and aria went down the memory lane.

She was pacing in her room back and forth.

"Is he insane?"

"Even a drunk maniac wouldn't say such things."

"I should report him to a mental asylum."

A halt.

"He was joking right? I mean how could someone just have a mood to fall from a building five stories high."

She was talking to herself letting out the frustration clear in her voice.

"I shouldn't have interrupted him in the first place, the world would've been a better place by now." She was again pacing around.

"He must've been out of his fluffing mind."

"Why did I even bother that idiot?"

Another halt.

"But wait, what if he was actually depressed?. He must've said those things to hide it from me." Her voice was suddenly low.

"Maybe I over reacted." Now she was worried.

"It must be so hard for him and I didn't even comfort him."

There was concern in her voice.

"But he said, he was there for the view." She was now confused.

"Why did he have to say the most stupid stuff and get on my nerves?" She said in anger.

"Is he seriously gonna wait for when it rains?. Why did I gave him that idea?" Her thoughts were a mess.

"I'm such an idiot. I bet he's in his room laughing at me right now."

She pulled at her hair in frustration.

"AAAHHH....THAT BASTARD IS DRIVING ME CRAZY."

"Aria?" Sofia's voice brought her out of her trance.

"Oh, nothing much." She replied closing the book.

"You look tired honey, take some rest. You have school tomorrow."

"Okay, mum." She said with a sigh.

She wasn't really excited about her new school, but it made her nervous. Will she be able to fit in?. Socializing wasn't her thing and she didn't know how to make friends. Maybe blending in isn't so bad, if she knew how to do that.

When Sofia left her room, she got up from the floor and placed the book back in the shelf. She picked up the bags and tossed them in the closet. After brushing her teeth, she changed into her pyjamas and jumped on the bed, pulling up the covers.
