7am waking up in the morning gotta be fresh gotta go downstairs, gotta have my bowl gotta have cereal
"SHUT UP!" I scream at the radio, they had to pick that song to wake me up? I hide under my quilt and try to get back to sleep...I close my eyes. Only to be woken up again by a vibration from under my pillow, before you say anything it was my phone. It was Jess my bestfriend calling me. At this time, really?! I decide to answer only to be greeted by numourous girls screaming down the phone "Jess this better be good I'm too tired for talking at the moment" Seriously I love her but I don't wake up fully until at least 9am- mornings are not my thing.
"Well sleepy time is over my dear friend cause you need to be packing and at my doorstep within two hours!" She said in a voice to cheerful for this time of day.
Then what she said finally clicked. Oh shit I was supposed to be going camping with Jess and a few other friends, thank god I remembered to pack yesterday.
"Oh yeah camping! Thanks Jess see you in a bit"
You people will probably be all: omg camping seriously? Why would you do that? It's all horrible and muddy with no electricity. All I have to say to that is you've probably never tried camping like us. When camping with friends some of my greatest memories have happened and just cause we don't have sockets it doesn't mean we are cut off from the world completely, we have our mobile phones and we always bring a laptop so we can talk to people over facebook and stuff!
Well best get ready. I throw my covers off the bed and immediately run into the bathroom to splash some cold water over my face to wake me up...slightley. I catch a quick glance of myself in the mirror. My long wavy blonde hair sticking out in every direction possible, my dark green eyes hardly visable because of my drooping eyelids. More water me thinks. As my eyelids finally realise it's time to get up and sleepy time is over they rise making me look slightley less like a zombie. My pale skin didn't really help either I've never been able to tan always been this way, my mum calls me paleface but I don't care I like being pale! My skin is soft and as good as it's going to get on the spot front. I run back into my room to get changed.
I open the wardrobe to try and find something decent to wear. All I can see are skirts which aren't the best choice for camping really. Searching through my small yet cramped wardrobe I finally find some blue skinny jeans and a nice baggy top, my favorite top actually! It says welcome to the jungle on it. Gotta love Guns 'n' Roses! I quicky take my pj's off and throw them on my bed and within seconds I have unserwear on. I don't like the sight of my body I'm not gigantic but I'm no size 6 either. I slip on the blue skinny jeans and work my way into my top. Now for the most important part of an outfit. The make-up.
I'm very serious about my make-up I couldn't live without it! A slick of liquid 'liner on the eyelids and then the tinyest amount of kohl underneath the eyes. Then as much mascara my lashes can take without looking like spider. Euuugh horrible things, spiders. Then foundation...and you don't need to hear this so moving onwards!
Throwing my make-up bag into my backpack I grab my favorite black vans and slip them on and taking my black zip up hoodie off the hook I pull it on.
I shove my phone in one pocket then carefully placing my iPod into the other, I have my priorities straight, I grab my backpack sling it over my shoulder and head out to the garage. Not forgetting to leave a note in the kitchen so my parents know where I am.
I turn the garage light on and there she is. The beautiful original electric blue vespa I have the privellge to call my own. She ran like a charm and was the veichle or my dreams! I safely secure my vintage style helmet on, goggles and all, and check that my backpack is strapped onto my back as close as it could get. She starts first time, as always, and we smoothely pull out of the drive way. The feeling is phenomenal until you've done it it's so hard to describe the wind in your hair, just you and the road, and it was just me and the road cause no one goes out this early! So I didn't have to fear for my life on this journey. Thats the one bad thing about scootering you have to be careful not to piss anyone off cause they can kill you in a second.
I was there within 15 minutes and started to park up in Jess' dad's garage. I could see Jess' face light up as she saw me getting closer from her front window. She ran out the door screaming with excitement.
"Jess sssssssssssssssh, Jess calm down it's 7:30 am on a Saturday. People will still be asleep"
Suddenly she started hugging me I then felt two other people from behind me joining in on the hug. My other best friends Sylvia and Ellie. After about a minute we break the hug and just smile at each other.
"So who's ready for 3 super fantastical amazing days of greatness?!" Jess asks in a very childish voice
"US!" Sylvia, Ellia and I chanted silmoltaneously.
We all giggle as Jess unlocks her bright red convertable and shoves my backpack in the boot along with the everyone elses.
"Lets get going then shall we?" Jess says teasingly spinning her car keys around on her finger.
She unlocks the car and we all get in Jess driving and me sat beside her in the front then Ellie and Sylvia in the back. Jess starts the car and revs the engine a couple of times. The radio comes on and to out delight Tokyo (Vampires and Wolves) By The Wombats instantly comes on. With big grins on our faces we begin to sing the loudest we possible could as we started moving. Little did I know how ironic this would turn out to be.
