leni: i have a challenge for you pangga

risa: what is it?

leni: 20 days, you can’t see me, communicate with me, and you can’t open your phone too.

risa: ihh why pangga?? i can’t handle a week without you nga 20days pa kaya?

leni: it’s only a challenge mahal.

risa: fine, but you better have a good explanation.

leni: sige after the challenge pangga.

RISA POV

DAY 1: I woke up, Leni isn’t beside me anymore i thought it was only a joke but she was serious. I miss her already, i just want to cuddle with her, she better have a good explanation for this challenge. I started my day with my morning coffee, i don’t usually eat breakfast but corazón (leni) always say to me na bad daw ang hindi nag e-eat ng breakfast kaya i ate breakfast. I showered, went to work and after a tiring day, i went home but "HOME" isn’t home without MY home(leni).

DAY 9: It’s already been 9 days pangga..
11 days to go. I miss you so baddd :( i’m so tired at work i just want to lay on your chest and cuddle with youu, i hope you’re doing okay right now corazón.

DAY 18: Pangga! 2days nalang!! omg i miss you so muchh, finally makikita na kita and maoopen ko na phone ko. I miss you so muchh !

DAY 20: Today is the day!! tapos na ’yung challenge ni pangga. I woke up early and naligo agad, i cleaned the house muna before i used my phone. Pag ka open ko ng phone ko, grabe sabog ang notification. I opened my messenger and saw pangga.. she messaged me? i opened her message and...

Leni’s message:

“Hi pangga! i’m so proud of you at natapos mo ’yung challenge ko for youu, you’re probably wondering kung asan ako or why did i even gave you that challenge. Well... mahal i’m dead, yes you read that right. I’m probably dead by now. I got diagnosed by cancer, matagal na, i tried to get well kaso palala lang ng palala, Stage 4 ako right know.. Hindi na kinakaya ng katawan ko pangga i’m sorry :).. I love you so muchh my palangga, ingatan mo sarili mo ok? kumain ka sa tamang oras, bawal mag overtime lagi. I’m sorry if late ko sinabi, i don’t want you to be worried eh haha. Basta baby please take care of yourself okay? I love you and i’ll always will.”

I didn’t know how to react, my body just suddenly moved, i drove my car and went to Leni’s house while my tears were running down ti my face.
