29. Clean up

Dale ignored Cody's note, he reached for his belongings which Cody had put on the bed, he fetched a cell phone, and texted Ruth, "Service needed".

In a few minutes he heard the ring of the door bell, and Ruth was here in the room. Dale's mother asked too many questions but Ruth avoided them with a big smile. Dale doesn't like too much interference in his life so she stopped and let Ruth pass.

The room door was open, Ruth came in and she locked the door. Dale was inside the bathroom. He was in the bathtub, Dale managed to remove all his clothes and throw them into the dustbin and go inside the bathtub.

He didn't want to shock Ruth too much now his face was only visible, all other body parts were inside the water. Ruth's face was not happy with the view.

Ruth with anger in her eye and whole body, "Where is he?" and she was leaving the room.

Dale, "Please stop, I need help."

Ruth stopped, she was breathing heavily, her thinking power was not working.

Dale was almost done with cleaning so asked Ruth for a robe and towel. Towel was not enough to hide all the bruises.

Dale pointed to the Drawer where he had placed his first aid box. Ruth fetched it and gave it to Dale, Dale took a bowl and poured some oil and some herbs in its wolfsbane cure herb also. In all mixture Ruth did not notice any herb and that's what Dale wanted.

Ruth applied mixture on the back, when she saw Dale's back she was furious, her nostril was up but decided to apply it silently.

Once back done, Dale took a bowl and applied himself on all other body parts and faces.

Dale wore cotton clothes and came back to room Ruth was there, they both sat on bed looking at each other, Ruth was hoping Dale would break the silence, she wanted to know everything, she was ready to do anything, she was in a revenge mood.

Dale, "We will do something about this definitely, but not write away. We will let this ceremony and functions all over, Whole weekend we will observe what he is doing and we will plan our next step."

Ruth, "It will be too late to react, once he is crowned as Alpha everything will be different, tonight is night to act."

Dale, "I understand what you are saying, Going against alpha is more difficult than soon to be alpha. But making accusations on him now is bad timing for our Pack. Dale, "We will approach Micheal Monday first thing, to check if Cody is ready to talk, we will talk, if he ignores or gives arrogant reply, we will go ahead with your plan on Monday."

Ruth, "Instead of Michael we will go through my father, let's talk to my father now, he is the best insurance of ours, My Father cares for the pack so he will also wait till Monday, and one of the elders is our side so we will win."

Dale, " No elders, we will go through Michael, just for Monday, if anyone took us lightly we will go to any elder of your choice commander or Alpha."
