Finn Wolfhard || little crush

First day of sophomore year

It was the first day of Sophomore Year, you were so excited but also nervous about if you will make new friends or you will be the shy and awkward girl nobody knows. You had no luck with this year's schedule, some of your last year classmates got classes together but none of them with you, that meant you had only chance to see them on recess.
Now it was 8am and you had to enter class at 8:30, you were late.

- "Mom!! Can you please get in the car and drive me?! I'm going to be late on my first day!!" -You shouted from the car to your mom who was packing some stuff for your brother's first day - "Honey one minute! I just need to take one more thing!"
- "Alright but be quick, I don't want to get told off for being late okay?" -You were getting nervous when you thought about your first day.

After a long ride, you finally arrived to school. Everyone was talking and getting to know each other.
You got off the car and your mom wishes you a wonderful day, you thanked her and headed to your first class.
Everyone introduced themselves, there were lots of different kind of people, there were some really nice people, others were so annoying and there were some sort of popular kids who thought they were the centre of the world.
But there was a specific boy who spent most of the class looking at you.
He had a youthful, angular face with defined cheekbones. His dark brown eyes were large and expressive, giving him a thoughtful look. His lips were full but subtle, combined with his wavy dark brown hair.
You didn't notice him, until the class finished. You were making your way to your locker, when suddenly, a boy came up to you, it was the same guy that was looking at you in class.

- "Hey..." - he said looking a bit nervous but you didn't even notice it - "Hi..." - you said, not knowing what else to say or were to look at - "I'm Finn...Finn Wolfhard" - he started to fidget with his hands - "I'm Y/N, nice to meet you Finn" - "Y/N... It's pretty..." *just like you*- he thought of it, but he didn't say anything out loud - "So... you are also the new kid right? I have never seen you here" - you started to talk, to have a conversation - "Yeah, i moved here like a week ago, i'm from Canada" - "Oh Canada, that's cool, I've always wanted to visit it" - Well, it's not a big deal but it's quite nice there so yeah i really recommend you to visit it someday"

The bell rang and you had to go back to your next class. You said bye to Finn and headed to class. When you were walking down the hallway, Finn was looking at you until you disappeared between the other students.

You spent most of the class bored and tired, until you receive a notification...
A notification from instagram, you read the message from your lock screen: *finnwolfhardofficial sent you a follow request*
You wanted to accept it but you waited about 5 minutes so as not to seem desperate to accept his follow request.

When the class finished, you went to your locker again, but this time Finn was not nearby. You wanted to talk to him but you couldn't spot him. Where was he?
A few minutes later you saw him going out of the school, so you ran to him.

-"Oh hey again!..."- "Hey"- he said in a low tone, he seemed somehow more shy than before - "I saw your follow request, how did you find me? I never told you my last name, and i'm sure there are lots of Y/N's in this school"- you said curiously, because how had he found your instagram account without knowing your last name? - "oh..umm.. i...umm...a friend gave it to me..."
- he stumbled all over his words, why would he be so nervous? - "oh okay..."-

This conversation was so awkward but stupid at the same time.

"I need to go home, my parents are probably waiting for me" - "yeah yeah, i'm leaving too, they're probably waiting for me too, see you tomorrow?" - he said snapping out of his thoughts and realizing you had to leave, he didn't want you to do so but at least he could see you tomorrow - "yeah see you tomorrow, bye Finn" - you waved at him as you walked out of the building - "bye Y/N..." - he waved back as you left, leaving him with a feeling that something on him was missing.
