A One Direction Baby

Chapter 2- The test

-present time-

I just keep staring at the pregnancy test that lies in my lap. My life is ruined, pregnant at 19. My life has hardly even started, and now I have another life to watch and care for. One thing I don't have to worry about is knowing who the father is... It's Niall Horan, from One Direction. Let's just say thing got heated after the meet and greet.

Niall and I both knew that the condom broke, I was taking the pill but I guess it didn't work for me.

My thoughts were interrupted by Lexie bringing me back to reality. "Alex!!... Are you ok? Please come out?" I slowly stood up from my slouched spot on the floor of the bathroom. I unlocked the door and waited for tears to come, but they never did.

"Lexie, I- I'm preg-pregnant..." I muttered, "you're... What?!" She said not believing her own ears "I'm pregnant Lexie!" I said more loudly and with more intensity. "That night at the meet and greet, Niall and I had a, um, one night stand. His condom broke and the pill failed me. I need to contact Niall..."

"Ok, let's talk options...abortion, keep or adoption?" Lexie asked sounding sincere. " Well, I'm NOT getting and abortion, they are terrible and wrong, and I couldn't stand to loose somthing that I created. So I'm keeping it." I replied firmly. There's those tears pricking at my eyes.

"Well then, names?" Lexie asked sounding hopeful. I can't believe with everything that just happened she asked about baby names! I couldn't keep it in any more the tears took over and I started sobbing, pressing my face into my pillow.

"Well..." Lexie started her sentence but I had to interupt her. " *sigh* "If it's a girl I'll call it somthing like Bridget, if It's a boy I'll call him Austin... Happy?" I said answering her question. "Yes, very" she replied with a giggle. "I'm going to call the doctor."

Me: Hello? Is this the Rose street medical centre?

Doc: Yes, how may I help you?

Me: I just took a pregnancy test and it's positive, so could I get an appointment ASAP?

Doc: Sure, what's your name?

Me: Alex Barker.

Doc: Would 2pm be good for you?

-I glanced at the clock, it was only 12.-

Me: Sure! That sounds great, see you then. Bye

Doc: Bye.

I hung up the phone and walked back over to Lexie. "Well today is the day, my life changes."
