Seungmin POV

The air was a dry kind of cold. My lungs felt raw, my fingers freezing even within my knitted gloves my mom had sent me.

I stuck my hands in my jacket pockets, and leaned my shoulders forward, trying to pick up the pace.

I planned on having a relaxing evening just by myself but I lost track of time while at the company building (one of the other trainies had tried to blame me for his mistake during choreography practice, and we almost fought) so here I am, dealing with the blue weather of the late evening, all because of some emotionally immature kid who was too stubborn to just take responsibility.

Most of the trainees were fun to be with, like Hyunjin and Changbin but some of the guys we had to practice or just hang out with, got on my nerves. And I hoped I didn't get grouped with them.

Shit it's cold..

I looked up, picking up my pace, feeling a tinge of inspiration to walk even faster as I saw the bridge to my apartment up ahead.

Almost there..

Just a half a mile after I cross the bridge..

I began to jog, scrunching my pink nose as the cold air blew against my face.

I can't wait to get inside... I'll put on the fire place and order some take out, I can practically feel the warmth already...
I thought, smiling up at the sky with closed eyes as I made my way onto the bridge.

Suddenly I noticed a black shadow-like figure in the corner of my eye as i was walking up. I glanced over, shivering a bit as the wind picked up.

Someone else got stuck out
here too? I wondered, before I got a clearer picture of what the boy was doing.

He was at the railing of the bridge, pulling one leg over so he was sitting on the railing; one strong gust of wind, and he'd be sent straight down into the water.

My eyes widened, my heart beginning to beat three times as fast as before as the consistent sound of the wind quieted down, and I noticed the boy's crying.

Is he going to-

He was wearing dark jeans and a t-shirt, his arms and torso shaking furiously as he stared down at the dark water below.
