When we got to the little house, a tall, old elf welcomed us to his village and told us to make ourselves at home. It was one that the elves had made for travelers after Killian had gone looking for Scyphozoa Castilian. Though they were kind, we distanced ourselves from the elves that night, politely skipping their bonfire party so that we could plan on how we would get to the Castles. The Castles, meaning the Ice Castle. We had to get the king's permission to carry on through his land by solving three impossible riddles.

"Why don't we just turn back?" Willow said, "After all, the riddles are impossible." Killian smiled, "Ah, yes, but what about when you have an elf with you who has easily passed all three riddles twice?" Willow folded her arms and frowned skeptically, "I have a feeling you didn't actually solve those riddles." She said. Killian chuckled and threw his arm over her shoulder, "Don't worry about it! I've got it all under control." he said, smiling, his hands turning to claws. "Uhuh..." Willow said, throwing his arm off of her shoulder with a disgusted face.

I was given the duty of making sure that Lillith didn't try to run away. Killian told me that if I took my eyes off her, she would try to run all the way back to that broom closet again. I sighed, the poor girl refused to speak to me, though, she didn't seem scared, it seemed as if she didn't trust anyone. Like if she trusted someone, they would immediately tear her into a million pieces. I felt bad though, that she had to go through something so horrible at such a young age. Killian too.

"Come on," I said, gesturing to Lillith, "You're sleeping with Willow tonight." She nodded and stood up, carrying her book in her arms. I picked her up and carried her to her room, since her legs were wobbly from the day's long journey. She lay down by Willow and smiled, and for the first time, I heard her speak, "Hi, Willow. Was Killian being mean to you?" She said, playing with Willow's hair. Willow smiled, "No, he was just being silly." She said. Lillith giggled and closed her eyes, quickly falling asleep. I smiled and slowly closed their bedroom door.

I walked out into the main area of the house and sat on the couch, looking out the window. I gasped as a pair of hands covered my eyes, "Guess who?" I heard someone say. I giggled, "Killian, who else would it be?" he took his hands off my face and I turned to look at him. He was smiling, but this time it seemed more genuine. He looked down into his bag and pulled something out, "Here, put this on your eyes, it's a blindfold."
"Uh, why?"
"No questions, just put it on."

I put the blindfold on and let him lead me out the door. "Killian, where are you taking me?" I asked, laughing. "Sh... You'll see. Do you trust me?" He asked. I nodded. I could hear him laugh before leading me further. After leading me down the stairs and through the snow, he stopped walking, still holding my hand so that I didn't fall. "We're here." He said. I slowly pulled the blindfold off my face and my jaw dropped in awe. It was, for a lack of better words, breath-taking. There was a gorgeous silver river and a bed of roses that shone through the snow.

I turned and saw Killian was smiling at me, "It's beautiful, isn't it. I thought I should take you here because well, when I was, you know, alive, I would come here when I was stressed. And since you seemed stressed I thought that maybe I should-" I jumped up and hugged him, "Thank you."
