“What will happen after I die?” the brunet asked as he waited on his deathbed.
“Nothing, you’ll get reborn into this world.” The ginger said, sitting next to the bed.
“You live longer than me. After I die, will you find someone else?”
The ginger rested his head on the bed “no I’ll wait for you, just how I always did.”
“Awww is Chuu-chuu being a loyal dog?” the brunet said smiling.
“Shut up” Chuuya said aggressively “and I’m not your dog”.
Dazai smiled but then said dramatically “Chuuya there's something I need to tell you before I d-” before he could finish the sentence he started coughing up blood, “ah, my bad” he said smiling blood still dripping down from his mouth.
Chuuya quickly got up to clean, “You need to take your medicine now” He changed the bed sheets and poured Dazai a glass of water and some medicine. “Here, eat it.”
But Dazai refused “ew, I don’t want it. It must be bitter.”
“You take it, or I shove it up your throat!” Chuuya again handed Dazai the medicine.
“Is that how you treat your patients?” Dazai had a face of disgust but still put the medicine in his mouth “Chibi”
“What?”
“Come closer”
“What do you want now?” Chuuya moved closer to the bed.
Dazai pulled Chuuya in for a passionate kiss. The kiss didn’t last long before Chuuya pulled back, and it didn’t last long until the brunet turned into a cold stone.
“It’s snowing… it’s beautiful too. You would have loved it.” The ginger revealed his tails and ears, holding an umbrella covering the stone cold grave. “It’s been hundreds of years, I’m a few hundred years old, but you always stay 23.” He chuckled, but tears dripped from his cheeks into the snow. “It’s like a curse I can’t control. If I can, I want to be human, too. I can die with you.”
He mumbled under his breath “the next time I see you I’ll die with you, I’ll hope for a life where I’ll never meet you again.”
