Once I had reached my safehouse, I quickly went to work locking down the place. I was nearly done when I heard a voice outside. It was a voice I had last heard four years ago.
It was the voice of an angel.
It was Liam Payne's voice.
He seemed to be shouting for help. I knew that leaving my safehouse wasn't the smartest idea, but I loved Liam and I was willing to die for him.
I loaded my gun and exited the safehouse. Liam was lying on the ground outside my safehouse writhing in agony.
"Li-Li? What are you doing here?" I asked, shocked to see my long lost love in front of me.
"I came to warn you Ching Ching. Chang Chang is not what he seems."
All of a sudden I was filled with a burning rage. How dare Liam come back after four years and try to turn me against my brother?
"It's too late Li-Li. This time, I'm the one leaving you."
Saying that was painful, but it had to be done. Chang Chang was all I had left in the world.
I turned around, eager to get back to my safehouse but my path was blocked by Chang Chang.
"Chang Chang? How did you find me?" I asked, a little confused, but happy to see him. He smiled at me but didn't say anything.
"Chang Chang? Is something wrong?" I was getting a little worried now.
He slowly reached into the backpack that he always seemed to be carrying and pulled out...a chainsaw.
He smiled again, but this time it was a sadistic smile.
I wished I had listened to Liam. He was right. He had always been right. But it was too late now. I closed my eyes and waited.
I could hear Chang Chang walking towards me. "It's time, my precious", he said and the tears began to fall down my face like the showers that are British.
I was sure that I was going to die at the hands of my brother, when all of a sudden, I heard an explosion. I opened my eyes, trying to figure out what was happening, when my head hit something hard and I passed out.
I woke up, trying to remember the events that had conspired in the last hour.
I looked around searching for Liam and my brother. Not too far away, I saw their bodies lying on the ground. I crawled towards them, trying in vain to avoid the shrapnel that covered the ground.
I reached the bodies and checked for a pulse. They were both dead.
I let out a heart-rending shriek. I looked around once more and realized that a bomb had exploded.
Somebody had tried to kill me.
I was about to avenge the death of my brother and the love of my life, when I felt a burning sensation spread through my body. I looked at my stomach and saw that a piece of wood was sticking out of it.
I slowly came to the realization that I was dying. I was too weak and underweight to survive.
I sat down next to Li-Li and took out my iPhone 5, prepared to share my story with the world before I died.
