Sky's heart almost skips a beat, his head feels dizzy, he feels his stomach dropping from its place. How can he even help this man? First of all, he hates his guts. Second of all, he doesn't even know him at all!

Sky slightly pushed Prapai away. “Sir, you better go home. Do you want me to bring you suppressant first?”

“No… please, help me.” Prapai kept on trying to hold Sky’s hand.

“Then, you better go home before it gets worse. Or find your omega.” Sky could only say, he really doesn't know what help he could give.

Sky turned around and was ready to leave, when Prapai held his waist. The guy behind Sky smelled his scent glands. Sky could feel his breath on his neck.

“You smell so good… So perfect for me.”

Sky slowly felt hot, he can feel this alpha’s pheromones. And because he was a dominant alpha, it's clear that what he was doing was releasing his pheromones to make Sky be in his heat. Sky gritted his teeth, clenching his fists tightly. His body betrayed him, responding to Prapai’s pheromones in ways he despised. Heat pooled under his skin, and his mind screamed at him to move, to shove this man away. But his omega instincts whispered something else entirely, and that terrified him more.

“Let go of me,” Sky demanded, his voice wavering between anger and desperation.

Prapai loosened his grip slightly but didn’t let go completely. His breath brushed against Sky’s ear, sending another shiver down his spine. “I don’t know why, but being near you… it calms me, you calms me. I can’t stop.”

Sky whipped his head around to glare at him. “Calms you? You’re practically burning me alive with your pheromones! You alphas are all the same—selfish and reckless.”

Prapai flinched at the sharpness of Sky’s words but didn’t back away. “I didn’t mean to hurt you,” he murmured. “I just… I’ve never felt this before. Not with anyone.”

Sky scoffed, attempting to step out of his hold, but Prapai’s arms were unyielding. “You’re delirious. Your hormones are messing with your head.”

“Maybe,” Prapai admitted. “But my inner alpha tells me something about you. Something I can’t ignore. It was as if you owned him.”

Sky tried to calm his racing heart, ignoring the heat spreading through his chest. “Your freaking alpha instincts? Well, my instincts are telling me to get as far away from you as possible.”

He pushed harder this time, finally breaking free from Prapai’s hold. He turned to face him, eyes blazing despite the flush on his cheeks. “You need to get your head straight, sir. Whatever this is? It’s not happening.”

Prapai watched him, his usually confident expression tinged with something Sky couldn’t quite place—was it regret? Longing? “If I let you go now,” Prapai said softly, “will I ever see you again?”

Sky stared at him, his stomach twisting. “I don’t know, I don't even want to see you again. So, don't act like this.”

___

The elevator ride up to Prapai’s condo was tense, the air thick with unspoken desire. Sky kept his arms crossed, trying to calm the storm raging inside him, but his omega instincts were in full control now. The moment he decided to kiss Prapai back in the bar, he knew there was no turning back. He didn't know why he kissed him after saying that he doesn't want to see Prapai ever again. Something just tugged him when he somehow stared at Prapai's eyes.

Prapai stood beside him, his usually smug demeanor replaced by something quieter—darker. His eyes flicked to Sky occasionally, burning with the same intensity that made Sky’s knees weak earlier.

When the elevator doors slid open, Prapai stepped out first, turning briefly to gesture for Sky to follow. Neither of them said a word as they walked into the condo. The door had barely clicked shut before Sky found himself pressed against it, Prapai’s lips capturing him in a kiss so deep it left him breathless.

“You drive me crazy,” Prapai muttered against his lips, his voice low and rough. “From the moment I saw you, I couldn’t stop thinking about you.”

Sky gasped as Prapai’s hands roamed his waist, his scent overwhelming in its dominance. “You’re insufferable,” Sky managed to say, though his words lacked any real bite. His body betrayed him, pulling Prapai closer instead of pushing him away.

“Maybe,” Prapai replied, his lips brushing against Sky’s jawline. “But you like it.”

Sky opened his mouth to retort, but Prapai silenced him with another kiss. It was intoxicating, the way their bodies fit together, the way Prapai’s hands seemed to know exactly where to touch to leave Sky trembling.

When they finally broke apart, gasping for air, Prapai rested his forehead against Sky’s. “Tell me to stop,” he whispered. “If this isn’t what you want, tell me now.”

Sky’s chest heaved as he stared into Prapai’s eyes, filled with raw emotion that scared him but also thrilled him. “Shut up,” he said, pulling Prapai down for another kiss.

The night was just beginning, they took the rest of the night enjoying each other's warmth. Sky doesn't even know how many times they did it, but he woke up with an aching body… and Prapai still inside him.

Sky didn't waste his time, he carefully got off of Prapai. He quickly wore his crumpled clothes and ran out of that building without looking back.
___

Sky dragged himself through the university gates, his body still aching and his mind replaying the events of the previous night. He tightened his grip on the strap of his bag, willing the heat in his cheeks to dissipate.

“Sky!” a familiar voice called out. He turned to see his friends marching toward him, their faces a mix of concern and irritation.

“Where the hell were you last night?” one of them, Fern, demanded. “We waited for you, but you just vanished!”

Sky sighed, trying to play it cool despite his discomfort. “Sorry, I got drunk faster than I expected. I didn’t want to ruin your night, so I went home to sleep it off.”

Fern narrowed her eyes, clearly unconvinced. “You got drunk? You barely touched your drink when I saw you last. What really happened?”

Sky forced a sheepish laugh. “What can I say? Maybe I’m getting weak with alcohol.” He shifted on his feet, the ache in his legs a vivid reminder of why he’d really disappeared.

“Next time, at least tell us if you’re leaving,” another friend chimed in. “We were worried.”

“I’ll do that,” Sky muttered, desperate to end the interrogation.

As they walked toward their lecture hall, Sky’s mind wandered back to Prapai. The man’s face was burned into his memory—his sharp jawline, those intense eyes, and the way his touch had sent electricity through Sky’s entire body. It was insane. Sky didn’t even know his full name. All he knew was that he was the competition judge—a stranger who had turned his world upside down in a single night.

“Sky? Are you even listening?” Fern’s voice snapped him out of his thoughts.

“Yeah, sorry,” Sky said quickly. “Just tired.”

“Well, snap out of it,” Fern replied, her tone softening. “You can’t afford to zone out with finals coming up.”

Sky nodded absently, but his mind was already elsewhere. He wondered if he’d ever see Prapai again. Was it just a one-night thing? Or would their paths cross once more?

“I hope I don't cross paths with him, I don't have a face to show to him after that shamelessness of mine.” He whispered to himself.

As he settled into his seat for class, he realized he wasn’t sure what he hoped for. But one thing is for sure, a big part of him wanted to forget, to move on like nothing happened.
